All Star Heating and Cooling

They really should change their names as John (the guy folks compliment below) is now the owner. John is fantastic! He has a very quick response time and when at my house, will explain all my options so I can make the best decision for my family. We replaced our completely rusted through water heater. When some of the rust clogged the pipe (as he warned it may), I called and he was arrived within the hour, and cleared the clog with no charge. I have been very happy with John.

We are so angry and very much disappointed for All star’s dishonesty, and Scam. We want report this, Because we don’t want have any more victim. Our furnace was working very well. But woman from this company kept calling my husband for service, So we did. two technician came for one man’s job. and they told us Circuit board is not working,(replacement cost $ 625.00) Our Furnace is old, (need to change $ 2250.00) and all sudden our furnace stopped working!!!
We had very bad vice from them, so we asked other company to inspect them .And we discovered that circuit board was disconnected from the source manually! and cord was cut intentionally!!! «it never happen like this naturally «he said. we called and complain against All star. asked same woman, «give us least our service charge back ($ 70.00)» she was very apologetic first, told us to give us money back. But she called us back, after she talked to manager, and said «we didn’t do anything wrong, So all star will not give you any money back «And she started to blame us. she said «may be your friend or family disconnected and cut a cord!!!» what a excuse !!! I just lost my word. I just couldn’t believe it !!! And she added «my company is an honest one and others are not «But others didn’t charge us $ 625.00 to fixed it. and our furnace is working fine now !!
But still we had to pay $ 145.00 to fixed it …That’s because ALL STAR HEATING COOLING DELIBERATELY BROKE OUR FURNACE, AND TRY TO MAKE MONEY FROM IT !!!
We want complain against all star for their scam to other institution too
they are so DISHONEST AND SCAM…

These must be employees or, even worse, owners…

Our heating was not working. All Star came and fixed the problem as well as service our unit. It didn’t take long and for a good price too. Now the heating is working and working great. Nice knowledgeable people and great professional service.

First let me say this is a really professional company, no nonsense. I called, and a tech came out and looked at my heating. They installed my new thermostat at a reasonable price, exactly what I expected.

My furnace did not produce heat, so I started to go through the Unilocal and yellow pages. I saw this company at the top of yellow page search but when I checked them out on Unilocal it did not look good. I started to scroll through their filtered reviews and it seems like they have good and bad reviews. I called the number and Claudia answers the phone. I asked how much would it cost to replace a furnace? She could not give me an answer to how much but she can send out an estimated and that it would be free for the quote. Sal and john came and checked out my furnace and gave me a few option. I could either go with a repair or get something more efficient than what I have. To cut the log story short, they gave me a written proposal and I decided to go with the installation. I even posted a few pics of my own and my neighbors units they installed. I understand they can not make every one happy but at the end I was more than happy. Thanks

Had these guys come out yesturday and I must say. I don’t know what the others are writing about but the guys that came out were very knowledgeable and gave me a price that was fair. They did a replacement on my unit and did a great job. I would give these guys a shot. Five stars from me. Keep up the good work gentlemen.

I needed to have my furnace and several air ducts cleaned thoroughly (and ASAP). I was referred to All-​Star by a close business associate/​friend after having looked into other companies who took far too long to get back to me; they had a great experience dealing with them so I decided to give them a shot. All-​Star did NOT disappoint. Prompt, professional service; staff seemed extremely polite, courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

We called around for a quote to have our furnace replaced. We decided to give All star a shot because there prices beat every body else. They came on time and were very polite they even put covers on there shoes do to the rain. After inspecting we decided to have our unit replaced they beat two other quotes we got. Were very pleased with the whole experience. I would definitely recommend to other families.

We had no heat. All Star diagnosed two broken parts, for a total cost of ~$ 1500, and suggested replacing the furnace for about twice that price, noting that the parts would take a week to arrive but a replacement furnace was in their truck.
I have an engineering background so was skeptical, asked some questions, and I told them I was making no decision that day.
An hour of troubleshooting later they got my heat back on by only replacing the thermostat. Bottom line, we paid almost $ 300 for a $ 40 non-​programmable thermostat.
They seemed very happy to have eventually fixed the problem, so maybe their hearts were in the right place. So two stars rather than one.

These guys are a scam. Called them for a duct cleaning. He put the vacuum in the room where we had a problem with air flow. I thought he’d detect a blockage. He put the vacuum for 15 mins (I looked at the clock when the vacuum started) and said 40 mins were up!
Then, he just left with some gratuitous changing of a filter.
A few days we called another company to check why the air flow in one room wasn’t happening and they found that the duct to that room was not connected to the main air flow ducting. Well so much for my wasted $ 199. Please don’t get them. They are a waste.

I received a cold call one day from this company who offered me a special deal to service my heating and air conditioning! These guys came by, performed a very thorough service and were very honest and professional! And their price for the job was very reasonable! I would use them again and I highly recommend others to use them as well.

Well, I felt like the wool was being pulled over my eyes. They advised me that my furnace was leaking carbon monoxide and the seal had cracked and fell off in their hand. Two men came and were speaking to each other in another language while I was present. They recommended we change out the furnace. Said they could replace it that afternoon as they just happened to have another in their local warehouse. They stated that maybe I could take advantage of the coupon, a $ 300 discount, which was a special in December. They also stated that someone would get back to us. They never did. In the mean time I contacted another company. They came out and stated that there is no carbon monoxide leakage, and just a slight fracture in the heat inducer. Seal is in tack!!!
Buyer beware.

The owners came out to evaluate my furnace one day and scheduled the work for the next day. Their employees showed up at around 8:30 a.m. and got right to work.
These guys were SO nice and SO professional. They installed a new furnace, brand new duct work and two new vents all in ONE (long) DAY! They were super polite and accommodated my activities around the house.
John gave us a great deal on all of the work that needed to be done — he is one of the owners and just a down-​to-​earth guy, trying to make a living, but not out to take more money than the job is worth (actually, I think he threw in a couple of things at no cost). He’s the type of person that you WANT to do business with.
I can’t say enough good things about the work that the guys did at my house… I’m sure that the insulation was absolutely disgusting — it must have been original! And they just worked really hard and didn’t complain or take breaks (except lunch).
After they were done, they did a SUPER job of cleaning up after themselves. This is pretty dirty work and they left my house in live-​able condition! Of course, there is a little dust/​insulation here and there, but WOW, they really did a great job at getting most everything!
I highly, highly, highly recommend this company. The owners really care about your satisfaction and I am positive that, if at any time in the future, I were to call about an issue, they would be out straight away to take care of it.
Thank you guys — I HAVE HEAT!!! YAY!
