We appreciate your business and are happy to serve you. My name is Dr. Howard Sutkin and I am a plastic surgeon serving the communities of Los Gatos, Palo Alto, and San Jose. I have found in the past few years that my patients have been well educated in plastic surgery. Much information is available directly from our office and on the internet. I do, however, wish to share some philosophies with you.

It is my goal and expectation as a plastic surgeon to get to know my patients and to make their plastic surgery experience smooth sailing and pleasant. Whether you are having complex reconstructive/​plastic surgery or you are electing to enhance your appearance, my office staff, private consultations, and surgery programs are dedicated to creating a professional and calming experience for you.

Business Owner

Dr. Howard Sutkin grew up in New York. He moved to the Midwest in 1985 to begin his study of plastic surgery at the University of Chicago– Pritzker School of Medicine. His early training was distinguished by receiving Phi Beta Kappa and biochemistry excellence awards followed by recognition in the national scientific arena on his research involving skin healing and tissue vascularity.

He completed a surgical internship and residency at Stanford University. While at Stanford Dr. Howard Sutkin was well known for surgical excellence, compassionate care of patients, and his friendly manner.

Dr. Howard Sutkin took advanced fellowship training in microsurgery at The Buncke Clinic in San Francisco and in cosmetic surgery in Miami Beach at The Robbins Institute. As one of the top plastic surgeons in the San Jose area, Dr. Sutkin is dedicated to using the newest and most advanced techniques which are also proven safe and effective.
