Specialties

Our specialty is complicated spa removal jobs. Sometimes the client wants there spa removed from the back yard and they have no idea how it was brought in. Well that’s when A1 Spa Recyclers will addvise them on the best way to get it out.

Sometimes they need to be cut into little pieces to make their escape. I’m happy that we’re doing our part to see the old spas don’t wind up in landfills around the bay .area.

History

Established in 1999.

This started out as a favor to a friend. He needed his spa removed from his yard. I helped him get this monster spa out and he gave me a 5 star yelp review and people started calling! That’s how A1Spa Recyclers was born.

I grew up in Idaho raising cows and growing potatoes. My parents moved to Ca in the height of the 1976 drought .My father designed and patented a drip irrigation system that went world wide. So I learned how to work a quickly expanding business.

I am a proud father of 2 teenage sons who are my partners and muscle! I enjoy showing them to make sure the clients are all 100% Satisfied. As they are our best advertisers. I also enjoy doing my part in the reuse and recycle movement.

Chip is the guy you should look for if you plan to have your Jacuzzi /​spa to be removed!
He’s responsive, responsible and reasonable price. He would follow up with my calls and my texts, don’t have to wait around too longer for a response. Get your answers quick and the job done in good time manner.
I had an old Jacuzzi, probably 20+ years old and a deck that was built around it. He removed the deck, the Jacuzzi and the concrete that was supporting it too.

Now that was a great experience. We’ve been trying to get rid of our old hot tub, which came with the house, for about 3 years. We had gotten a few quotes, but for some reason we couldn’t actually get someone to commit to showing up.
Thankfully this time I called the right person. I called Chip yesterday morning, and he came over last night to give me an estimate. Then he came by this morning at exactly the time we had arranged, and had the thing out of my life forever within a half hour.
He and his crew even negotiated a couple of tight turns and overhanging awnings and trees, without any trouble or damage at all.
Easy peasy, and for less than other quotes we had gotten! Thanks, Chip!

Bought a house with an ugly 20 year old spa and gazebo that took up most of the backyard. I was worried about the hassle and expense of getting rid of the spa. Called A1 and Chip came by to give me a quote the same day. Chip was very friendly and his rates were very reasonable. It took a few days to remove everything including the deck and now my back yard looks huge. It was a lot of work and I’m so glad I didn’t decide to do it myself which I was considering. Chip and his crew also do landscaping and other work and gave me some suggestions on my new backyard.

I was so impressed with Chip’s responsiveness and price. He advertised a Spa for sale and said he would deliver it to our driveway. He was out the day and time that he had scheduled. Chip and his crew went far beyond my expectations. They not only delivered a fantastic spa for a very reasonable price but actually put it into my back yard on the slab that was poured for it. Great experience — I highly recommend him.

Overall Chip and his company did a great job and I would highly recommend him. He came in and removed my old, in ground spa and pumps in less than 2 hours and at a fair, and reasonable price. If you need anyone to remove your old spa then Chip and his crew would be the best ones to do it.

Chip and his crew got here and went straight to work. From start to finish it was less than an hour and a half and that included taking down an atrium. They were so friendly, competent and fast. I also feel the fee charged was more than fair (which btw included the dump fee). I was extremely impressed with the service and would highly recommend them!

Chip came with three other guys and removed our spa in one piece, which was great because the spa was still working and had some life left. It would have been a shame if they had to cut it apart and take it to a dump. They were organized, nice, and knew what they were doing! He gave us the best price of 4 other quotes I had gotten for this job. Totally recommend him to everyone!

Fantastic! Showed up on time and removed the spa from a home that I sold with virtually no notice from me! I called Tuesday night and said I needed the spa removed by Thursday AM and they were there right on time and had the HUGE spa out of there — only took about half an hour! Thanks Chip!
