Try Evolution Motorcycles for bike welding work. I wish i would have gone there first. They did a solid job with getting my bracket welded back to my subframe. Ivan of A1 did a «quickie» job.

He tig welded a broken aluminum fairing stay on my motorcycle steering head. Same process as 6÷30÷11 reviewer. He correctly called that previous repair attempt left bad quality brazing material, and cleaned it out and made sure it aligned perfectly.
Really looks like top quality after he finished. I’ll probably bring in my bent VFR rim based on the repaired rims I saw at the shop.

I have used the nice gentleman here for welding several times. He can TIG aluminum with the best of them! Knows his stuff and is very fast. I just too a transmission that had a corner of the bell housing break off and he welded it back in in ~30 minutes. Just wish he took credit cards — cash only

I went here to get my motorcycle frame welded up. The place is owned an ran by one guy (completely forgot to get his name), so the shop isn’t huge but it can be kind of hard to find if you don’t look for it on Google Maps first (make sure to use ‘Street View’ function, Google lists his shop in the middle of a dirt lot, it’s actually the first building on the left-​hand corner) it’s located in the backstreets off Oakland Road and there are loads of other shops around. He did an excellent job and finished in only a couple of minutes, taking off the bodywork took longer. Nice guy, he’s been in the business for 40 years now, 35 of which have been in the United States, so he knows what he’s doing. If you need service, be prepared to take off the bodywork and unplug the battery yourself. He’s willing to help out any way he can and lend his tools if you need them but he doesn’t know too much about motorcycles from what he told me. This is just a shop specializing in welding in general, and from what I’ve seen, so are all the others. I got the best deal here and he welds everything from steel to aluminum, which Leo’s Muffler Shop (located in the same area) along with 5 other shops I called, don’t do. One more thing, you should bring cash as he doesn’t take credit/​debit cards. Overall, I’m very satisfied with his work and I’ll be coming to him if I need anything else done.
