Recently moved and needed storage for my extra things. Read some reviews on Unilocal and decided to get buy my unit online.
When we arrived, we were greeted by Louis and he already had our paperwork ready to go. He explained everything to us and walked us through the facility to our unit and showed us how to use everything.
After moving in most of my items the following day, we realized that we needed more room. We walked into the office and Louis remembered us right away and said there was no problem of being able to upgrade to a larger unit.
The entire process went very smooth and very personal. We will definitely be recommending Louis and A-​1 storage to our friends.

We called the storage place to reserve the storage. We got there late because of traffic, drove three hours. It was five on a Sunday and the manager Terry was getting ready to leave.
She was so nice and helped us get a storage to fit our needs still. We got a lock, storage and boxes. The place was clean and new looking, prices were in line for the area. I read good reviews on line about this place so I came here. Thank You, Terry — for a great experience —

Louis and Terri are the best! Never thought I would enjoy my ‘storage’ experience. They were always kind and helpful. 5 Start customer service. 5 Star on security, safety and cleanliness. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to store my stuff than with Louis and Terri and the rest of the team. Louis also made fresh coffee too, that helped make my storage organizing visit a pleasure. Terri had good candy too. If you’re on the fence, like I was at first, talk to Louis and you will find yourself moving your stuff in with peace of mind.

The area manager called, explained what happened and outlined the path to the resolution. I also was contacted by 2 other people. So you will be (new customers) or are (existing customers) in good hands!!! Now onto the review I was originally going to give… The Manager Luis is as awesome as all the other reviews say. They need to keep doing what they are doing to keep him there. Also the place is so well run, it is safe, clean, well lit and there is even music — which I learned is just for the customers. You will not be disappointed if you store your items here.

ALL NEW AND EXISTING STORAGE CUSTOMERS BEWARE!!! I am very disappointed — I was a great paying, rule-​following customer for over 1.5 years. I informed A1 of the intent to vacate and vacated on time. I handed in the forms etc. However I did not shut off my bank’s automatic bill pay so the next month’s rent was paid. At first I was told, sorry no refunds… After the manager even had a hard time explaining the logic… I completed the request for refund. It has now been almost 60 days and no refund, no follow up, nothing. I have to keep calling for status and I get nowhere each time.

Another good review with as Louis the star. He is very personable and helpful. He took time to answer questions and showed personal pride in A –1 Self Storage. I was uncertain of the size of unit I needed and the difference in costs. He was patient and gladly showed us the units to compare. What’s more, the place is bright, clean and easily accessible. I really do recommend.

Louis was absolutely wonderful and helpful. He was friendly, went out of his way to answer the questions I had with certainty and confidence. The grounds were clean, as was my storage unit when I moved in 4 months ago. Louis was just as friendly the day I moved in as he was today, when I moved my things out of my unit and closed my account. I would definitely return to this location in the future for all of my storage needs.

I was a little lost on where to go for a storage unit, so i got on here and saw the reviews on this place. 4.8 out of 5 stars looked good to me and I looked forward to meeting Louis, who was mentioned here. Upon arriving there i was greeted promptly and was pleased to see he was still there! The reviews on here didn’t lie. Louis was very friendly. :) He helped me choose the right unit for me and was extremely knowledgeable. He made the whole experience a lot of fun for me and I look forward to using this facility, knowing I’ll be well taken care of. Keep up the good work sir, I hope your boss sees this review and takes good care of you too!

The staff here are very helpful and professional. I am a longtime customer and recently moved from a drive up unit to one slightly larger. Louis helped me with the change and recommended how to best manage the switch to minimize overlap and payment of two units during the move. I am very happy with these folks!

Clean facility with the right mindset! I needed a place to store my household belongs for a month after I was suddenly relocated. By chance, I ended up at A-​1 Storage because of the location. I was extremely impressed due to the following reasons… #1 — I was contacted immediately after submitting an online request. #2 — Upon arrival, the associate who helped me, suggested a better option for my needs that was slightly higher in cost but actually made a huge difference. #3 — After reviewing their video surveillance, another associate noticed some suspicious activity and nipped it in the butt (this activity did not compromise the security of anyone’s storage). The reason I know this is because I inquired about the same issue after the fact and was pleased to know that it was already handled :) Awesome place, I would definitely use them again and refer all my friends and family. Recently I moved from Public Storage to A-​1 Self Storage. I am astounded at the differences and am kicking myself for not moving here months ago.
I am paying less than I did at Public Storage and I have a larger unit.
Instead of plywood walls that stop 2 – 3 feet before the ceiling I am in a unit with cinder block walls that reach all the way to the ceiling.
Instead of a small door at one end of a long unit, I have a nice sized roll up door that access the unit from the middle of one of the long sides. This makes accessing my property much easier.
To top it off the staff is kind and very helpful.
If you are in the market for self storage your search is over. You won’t regret choosing A-​1 Self Storage.

In my line of work I need to store my medical samples in storage. This place is always Clean. People are nice, and I always feel safe there. I cannot say that for other locations. I moved once and was so happy to come back.

Terry, Louis, and LeAnna are absolutely wonderful! I can’t say enough about them and their warmth and willingness to ‘go the extra mile’ to help you. Upper management/​corporate always is changing policies though… mostly frustrating! But thank goodness for Terry, Louis and LeAnna! Facility is extremely clean and tidy. Never had an issue with security. Very easy to get in and out of both the facility and my unit. Plenty of dollies to help transport all my junk! Would highly recommend.

I came here to grab an estimate and to look at sizes because I wasn’t sure how much storage I would need. The customer service was excellent. Prices were competitive and when I said I needed to think about it, she was still nice. The facility looked secure and clean as well.
