History

Established in 1929.

In Arlington Heights, IL, October 1929, G.H. Wilke purchased a jewelry store that had gone out of business due to the Great Depression. Moved to San Gabriel, CA in 1946 (legend says it was the weather!). The store is now in third generation ownership, and has developed strength in custom work. Wilke’s has always been very community oriented. Currently members of San Gabriel Chamber of Commerce, San Gabriel Rotary, Jewelers of America, California Jewelers Association, Jewelers Vigilance Committee. Website in progress.
