To be honest, this is the worst travel I’ve ever had. The tour is poorly designed, but that’s not the worst part: the tour guide is horrible. not only is he unable to speak fluent English, he is also lacking knowledge and experience. He can hardly solve any problems, and if anything occurs, it’s all on you. And the changing buses thing is exhausting. I barely get any good experience. If you have a car and you’re able to drive, I would recommend DIY-​a lot cheaper and less stressful.
PLEASE STAY OUT OF THIS AGENCY FOR YOUR OWN GOODNESS SAKE OR ELSE YOUR HOLIDAY WILL BE SCREWED AND YOU WILL LOSE ALL FAITH IN HUMANS

), then PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRAVEL AGENCY! RIGHT NOW. Don’t even bother reading the review on their website, they’re all LIES.

We booked our 3 days tour to SF that included Solvang, Santa Cruz, Stanford. And, although the hotel rooms are very nice, and the bus is pretty clean, the rest is shit. SHIT.
Shit # 1: Our guide guy was a, uhm, how to put it nicely? A DOUCHEBAG. His name is Rain, or Ring, or Reng Reng, or something similar. But anyways, he was rude, unethical, unskilled, unfriendly, and annoying as hell! The worst part was, he even threatened to kick us out of the bus. I do understand that he had the pressure on him to keep up with the schedule, but seriously? The way he said it was even worse «I promise you, you will not see the bus if you’re late. Oke a?» «I am serious, I will not wait for you. You go back to the hotel by yourself.» At least one good thing about him was that he was a man of his word. He did leave 2 girls behind at the Golden Gate Bridge stop because they were a couple minutes late. And when we spoke up about that to him, he yelled «That’s not my responsibility. I don’t care.»
And throughout the whole trip, he didn’t even crack a smile for us, not even a simple hello. He made the atmosphere in the bus feel like we were in a mobile concentration camp. And he was very lazy in explaining things in English. The information was basic, and uninteresting.
Shit # 2: The trip was a RIP OFF! This travel agency really sucked you dry. We found out about this when we were at the Santa Cruz Stop, the Camp Train thing. The train ride fee was not included in the package, so we would have to pay $ 29 for the ride. We decided not to get on the ride. When we talked to the lady worker in the souvenir shop and asked for the price of the ride, she said it’s only $ 27, and for group discount, it would be only $ 20. WTF? So that means the freaking agency ripped off $ 9 from everybody! That is such dirty business. If it’s only 3 – 5 $ benefit then it’s still acceptable. But $ 9? No wonder they said on their website that they we’re not allowed to buy separate ticket on our own. After knowing that, I bet they do the same thing with the other attraction places such as aquarium or the bay cruise. So NOPE. Screw you seagull!
Shit # 3: We had very little time at Stanford to visit, (45min), that’s barely enough time to walk through the entrance, take a few picture, then walk out. And the thing is they made us pay $ 15 mandatory each for the parking fee at Stanford. That is ridiculous! We did not receive enough back for what we paid for.
So, small piece of advice: DO NOT USE THIS TRAVEL AGENCY! You have been warned.

I would give 0 star if I could.
Rude customer service rep: When I called to check for available seats. She would first answer in Chinese and continue to speak in Chinese despite my effort to tell that I only speak English and couldn’t understand what she was saying. Then she quiet down a little and told me that there was only 1 seat left. Ok, cool. Then I asked for the same tour with different departure date, then shit hits the fan (or maybe she was pooping while answering the phone). She raised her voice and told me to call a different number. I could barely hear the last 4 numbers. I then patiently and gently asked her to repeat what she said, because I *NSFW* mofo need this number to know who to call. Then she slammed the phone and there was an awkward silence.
This may sound homophobic, but if this company is in the U S of A, they should speak English first, then their native language. I will pass this legend to future customers of Seagull Travel & Tour, and they will be enlightened.

Wow please just don’t. Horrible experience. You’d probably get more out of your experience by driving yourself lol.
I was on tour for antelope canyon, bryce canyon, and horseshoe bend supposedly for a 3 day tour (travel agency told us there’s a 3 day and 5 day option). On the third day, the day we were supposed to head back to LA, the tour guide said there was no bus that will take us back because we were on the 5 day bus. NO ONE told us anything. The tour guide basically said sorry you will have to take a plane or something. Wtf? So we called the travel agency and they said sorry for the mistake and then told us we will have to stay in Las Vegas for a day to wait for the bus for LA the next day and that they will inform the bus. So we did, and then the next day the person in charge of the bus back to LA said she was not informed about our situation.
Just no. But at the very least the lady called the travel agency company for us and got us seats, but now we are told that we will arrive to LA in, what, 10 hours? (Due to the stops they are making along the way). Yeah uhm a car ride fom Vegas to LA only takes 4 to 5 hours.
So yup, I was supposed to be home yesterday by 3pm but now I have to wait until 7pm of today.
Seagull tours was basically like being shitted on by a seagull at the beach.

OUR TOUR:
Three day round trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas, including a trip to the Grand Canyon.
NEED TO KNOW:
If you book through TakeTours, please be aware they only publish «approved» (ie good) reviews on their website. The fact that the tour is run via «Seagull» (worst name ever, btw?!) is not very clear on the TakeTours site.
THE GOOD:
— Cheap. $ 110 each included two nights in a Vegas hotel and transport to and from Los Angeles. The Grand Canyon excursion was an extra $ 80 each, which sounds expensive but is way cheaper than what most tours out of Vegas were charging.
— The bus was very comfortable, clean and air conditioned.
— Despite what other Unilocal reviews have said, I found the provided hotel (Circus Circus) to be excellent.
— Tour guide Tom for the Grand Canyon day was laid back and knowledgeable. He let us sleep on the bus and gave out a good approachable vibe.
— the Grand Canyon day in general was excellent and could not have been better.
— the Las Vegas buffet they stop at is clean and hygenic.
— there are some cool stops on the way back — a chocolate factory and an outlet mall.
THE BAD:
— The booking process is deceptive. Your Grand Canyon trip is not included in the price you pay online. Neither is the mediocre Las Vegas buffet they stop at. Neither is their sneaky service fee.
— You cannot eat or drink anything except water on the bus. This may not seem like too big a deal initially, but when your pickup times are 5am and 7am and you’re clutching a Starbucks coffee and breakfast trying to stay awake and you have to dump them before boarding the bus, it’s kinda crap. Similarly, it sucks driving for 3 hours at a time and not being able to have some fruit or a protein bar or whatever. The reason for this policy is that the staff don’t want to pay for cleaning the bus (they admitted this)
— There is a restroom on the bus, but it is only for emergencies. (Our guide made it clear to us that she wouldn’t be happy if any of these emergencies arose as again, they don’t want to pay the cleaning fee). This is another thing that many won’t care about when initially booking, but it’s truly a horrendous policy to have in place. It was 42 degrees Celsius most days during our trip. Many passengers, including myself, deliberately did not drink sufficient water in case we subsequently had to pee during the journey and incur the wrath of the tour guide. It was awful. It’s also hilariously bad business for the company, as I’m guessing having a no restroom policy essentially rules out many seniors, pregnant women, and parents with small children from using Seagull.
— Our main tour guide (won’t name cos I’m nice) did not stop talking over the microphone for literally 90% of the entire round trip. She spoke really loudly, mostly in Chinese, partly in (very poor) English. Most of what she talked about was irrelevant (ginseng and GNC, anyone?!), a few things she said were really crude (if we had to use the restroom in an emergency, it had to be «juice no chocolate cake») and others were just ridiculous statements («LA is boring, Vegas is the real USA»)
— the same tour guide was really unfriendly and unaccomodating. She told us that she would be annoyed if we asked her questions she had already answered. Every time we made a stop, the return to the bus time was repeated five times alongside five shouts of «DONT BE LATE». If we were running late, we were told to call her and she would wait TWO MINUTES before telling the driver to speed off and leave us stranded in the desert. She insisted everyone listen to her at all times and was not happy if anyone napped or had earphones in.
— there are two options for the Grand Canyon tour. We wanted to change our option at one point. This was eventually accommodated (and we are grateful for this) however this change involved a long waiting time, texts, calls and confusion, all during our first night in Vegas which should have been 100% fun.
— The «included» buffet is true to its Unilocal rating of 2.5 stars (Las Vegas buffet). It was really annoying paying for this in advance on the bus and then rolling up to the place with a huge TGIs right outside. Of course we couldn’t get a refund and dine in TGIs instead.
— the stops on the way back, although enjoyable, really add to the overall travel time back to LA. We left Vegas at 9 and arrived in downtown LA at 7. Between the stops and the time it takes to travel to, from and around the Grand Canyon, **you do not get that much time in Vegas itself**
— you are given numbers and stickers for every stop they make. These stickers are physically hit on you by the guide. Felt like cattle.
I would maybe recommend this company for young people who want a cheap way to get to vegas from LA. The Grand Canyon day was well run and great value and if you’re prepared to be patient and make a lot of compromises, Seagull could be ok. For anything remotely luxurious and a quick journey, I would look elsewhere.

We had two trips with this company, one is to LV and Grand Canyon, the other one to solvang, Hearst Castle and SF.
I need to be fair first, even though the LV trip is exhausting, it was far better than the SF route.
My advise, take a one day trip from LV to the Grand Canyon, do not stick with them for the whole three days. For SF, if you don’t mind travel with a tour guide who had no idea what he was talking about, go for it.
The first day on the way to LV, the tour guide asked if we want to take a night tour of Vegas for $ 25, starting from 5:30 to 9:30. We went to several hotels for the live performance, indoor and outdoor. The only thing is that the tour guide is pushing everybody to go fast fast fast. Considering the time we stuck in the tour bus because of traffic, we did not have much time look around. My advise, go by yourself, do some homework to make sure you cover all the live performance you want to see, do not waste $ 25 for a nerve racking experience.

We are on a trip going to SFO, LAS VEGAS and Santa Barbara, the tour guy did not say much about the place we are visiting, it is more like we only book for the bus and that person just tag alone with us, and the mom who sit in front of us let her son pee in a plastic bag while in the bus.

I just finish a trip from Los Angeles to Reno and visit Sequoia National Park, Sacramento, Lake Tahoe and Mona Lake on our way back to L.A.
The service charge of the tour is now $ 7 per traveller per day. This was stated clearly on the brochure. As the tour guide said, this was the major income for the tour guide and the driver. They had been professional and done a good job. At least for the past three days, they had carried us safely for almost 1,600 miles. They had to wake up early and go to bed late. Even if your child is only 4 years old, the child still occupy a seat. Some of us paid a little more as tip.
For a bus of 60 people, some could be rude. As for our trip, almost all of us were civilizied and courtesy to others. The people in the front of the bus got off the bus first. Tour guide rotate our seat, the first day, I seat near the back and the second day I seat near the front. Two old couples sitting near us talked very often. While I am waiting inline to pick up food from the steam table in a fast food place. One of those couple pushing me with his/​her body and get the food. There were no need to rush, no one was competing for their food. Overall, this bus was quite. I remember years ago I join a tour with the parent association of my child’s school. You can imagine the noise level with all those kids.
Our group had about half of the population Chinese, some Vietnamese, two Indian family and some Philipine. Therefore, the tour guide narrated in both Chinese and English.
Pro of joining tour: Save money, the tour can find cheaper rate in hotel and others
because of volume pricing.
Save time, the tour will bring you to the major attraction point. You can cover the most attractions in limited time.
do not have to drive for long hours.
Cons: Very rush. Get off the bus take a few pictures and visit the bathroom then you have to get back on bus.
Spend long time on bus.
YOu want to drive yourself on a road trip or join a tour is your call. For Seagull travel would be a good tour if you want to join a tour.

The driver, Jason, was a terrible driver. He was so reckless. The first day, we sat in the front. He was always eating, texting, talking on the phone. When he was doing these things, the buss always swerved. The bus driver was always on the phone, whether he was driving the bus or not. When the sun came out, the driver would switch between several pairs of gloves. He also had a pair of sleeves that he would take off and put on. The worst part was when he started to pull out a form from your company. he continued to fill out the form while he was driving!!! After he finished filling out the form, he sat on the clipboard that was holding the form. Awhile later, he took it out from beneath him and put it away. Another one of the numerous dangerous things he did was that he was always taking off and putting on his shoes.
On this tour, my family and I experienced something that we shouldn’t have. The bus driver got a ticket. The driver got a ticket for speeding and passing on a single lane highway. After he got on the bus again, he asked our tour guide, Kevin, to pay half of the $ 300 dollar ticket. Although the tour guide wasn’t willing, he gave the bus driver the money after thinking for 20 minutes. The tour guide was very good in doing this, because I think he gave the bus driver the money for our sake, as we had a few days left of the tour.
The tour guide had a good voice and volume, that went well with the speakers. We realized this when we had other tour guides on the last day. I think that switching buses twice was unnecessary, and better organization would have resolved the seating arrangements in one switch at the hotel in Las Vegas.
Although the bus driver was terrible in some aspects, he was very good at parking and knew how to control the bus, even when a car suddenly changed lanes right in front of the bus.

3 words: Don’t Do It! Unless you like to travel with rude people and enjoy a tour guide, who gives out odd information then have at it. Our tour started in LA to Solvang, Hearst Castle to SF. This was a 3 day tour. The majority of the people traveling on this tour are Asian tourists. Most of them were rude and had no manners. For example, when the bus made stops instead of everyone getting off the bus in an orderly fashion, they like to rush to the front of the bus out of turn and push and shove. On our final day, our tour guide mentioned we should tip $ 3 a day with total of $ 18 for the entire trip per person. The next thing we know the tour guide started going from person to person collecting money. When he got to me, I mentioned to him I thought tips was voluntary. He stated no its a «Service Charge»
Okay if its a «Service Charge» then why not call it that instead saying «Tip» Then on top of all that, he wanted me to pay a «Service Charge» for my 4 year old son. Are you Serious? «Service Charge» for a kid! I don’t recall them offering anything to him. This company is a joke. Too many hidden fees. Let me conclude by saying, «Don’t Do It!»
