I have a bad back and just re-injured it the other day. I came for a full body massage to get some relief. My massage was with Lu, the owner. I told him I needed attention to my back and neck. He proceeded to give me the best massage I’ve ever gotten. He spent a lot of time working on my back, which was very tight. I felt SO much better when it was over! This place is no frills, but who cares when you get such great service. I will definitely be coming back!!!

I was referred to this place by a friend. From the outside, it is very unassuming; I nearly though it was closed until the owner came to the door. Upon entering, Lu references the different massages, & asks which one I would like. I decided to go w/the full body massage, which involves a concentration on neck, shoulders and back, but also includes head/face, legs/feet, arms/hands, & reflexology(for $ 35). I really have to give this guy credit, as he honored the FULL hour & really put a lot of effort & physical exertion to massage me. Contrary to other places that use techniques to avoid fatigue, this guy actually used his hands and strength throughout the entire massage. Despite him becoming a bit(audibly) tired after a while, he gave his full attention through the end. He also focused primarily on my most tense spots(within the neck) without me having to ask. I have been to both high and lower end massage places, & this place is among the best. I felt that I received a better massage here than at other places, where I paid 3−4x the amount. It is nice, relaxing, clean, & provides privacy w/some individual rooms. Lu was great & very courteous. I’d highly recommend him, & this place. I will definitely be back!

My husband and I have been coming to this place for years. Previously called«Joyful Foot Spa.» We were happy to hear that the new owner is our favorite masseuse there, Lu! The inside is clean and quiet. Lu has done a good job making sure that each employee does a good quality job. The best part is the price. $ 15 an hour! We usually tip generously, especially if they do a good job.

Everyone in my family has been coming here for years, as it was previously called«Joyful Foot Spa».(My husband and I even ran into my mom and sister walking out, just as we were walking in one day.) Although ownership changed, it is pretty much the same and the staff doesn’t seem to have changed much. For $ 20(plus tip) you can get a «foot massage» that really starts with your shoulders and back(sitting), then they have you lay down and will massage your head, neck, shoulders, arms, back… and at the end they move down to the legs and feet. The massage is harder or softer depending on who you get — but if you ask them to adjust their pressure you can get it to your liking. This is not a fancy spa– there are no steam rooms and the basic massages are done in a large room that holds about 8 beds. But for the price, it really can’t get any better. I’ve tried a few other foot spas in the area, and always end up coming back here. TIP: CALLAHEAD. I can usually get an appointment within an hour, but if you just walk in they may have to call someone else to come assist you, so you’ll have to wait for them to arrive.

I used to like this place. I think management changed. The manager does not speak English. He couldn’t understand for the longest time that two of us wanted two hours massage each. We negotiated price(the same price they used to give me before) and walked inside. He said something in Chinese to the women inside and they started arguing in their language right in front of us. When they finished arguing he told me that price changed back to originally posted price. I counteroffered him with the price in the middle and he agreed. I asked to use their restroom and from the inside I could hear them arguing again. Upon returning the first thing he said to me was that I had to pay right away and that they want $ 10 tip per hour. I told him that I will pay at the end like I always do and that I will tip as much as I want. After that he refused the service to us which was a good thing since I didn’t want their service anymore after all the commotion. It was embarrassing in front of the guest I brought with me and told him good things about the place. Be careful. This massage used to be good but is simply horrible now.

I have been going to this spa for a couple of years. Now called Sapphire Spa, it seems even better. I went on a Saturday at noon and had the best massage by Lu. At $ 15 for an hour, it was fantastic! Of course I always tip $ 10 and it is still a bargain. Clean and the room is big with smaller private rooms as well.
