History

Established in 1984.

The organization seeks to promote forms of interdenominational cooperative efforts and community engagement to aid people in dire need of assistance living in the communities we serve. This includes but is not limited to provisions of food, personal hygiene items, clothing, and referrals to other local organizations, through a project known as People for People.

Financial support has been and continues to be provided by religious organizations, civic clubs, and corporations, bolstered by small businesses and individuals, as well as public and private grants and charitable donations. Supplemental funding is generated by holding various fundraisers throughout the year.
