This place use to be my favorite spot to go to in San Gabriel. Unfortunately, I will never come here again. They are bunch of liars who made me wait 30 minutes and still no one came and they expected me to leave my foot in the water. Don’t waste your time here and go to one of the other spots on Valley Blvd.

The place has a better atmosphere than where we go but my husband didn’t like his gal. When we asked for the names the girl tells us new girl we asked again but apparently new girl doesn’t have a name. My person was Nicole and was decent but we may go back to our old place. They don’t work on the shoulder and neck as much. How ever I like the massage to my legs and feet. I needed it even Nicole said my neck is stiff and the she didn’t work on it… Disappointment to start but it got better. Will I come back most likely not.

So an out of town friend of a friend loves this place. I’ll preface by saying again they’re from out of town and haven’t tried any other places in SGV. As we know looks can be deceiving and Embassy Leisure is a good example of this. Outside looks like a run down chicken coop but inside it’s quite the contrary. Was a little distracted at first by the WWII footage on the TV’s at first but once the kneading began I was slipped into a state of zen. The masseuse I had was a little soft at the beginning so I told her to go HAM and she did. Maybe I haven’t had a massage in a while but seemed she was extra thorough and really got into my back and legs. Which I did not complain. I will come back again. There’s an upper and lower level for parking behind.

Great massage for a really good price! It doesn’t seem very appealing from outside but looks pretty nice inside and quality of massage makes up for it!

Tucked away in the back of a crowded parking lot is this large capacity massage place. This is my SGV aunt’s go-to massage place for last minute massage needs for more than one person. Apparently, other places in the area get booked up pretty quickly because they’re much smaller. They have an English speaking receptionist who seemed a little new and still learning the process. A one hour massage was only $ 17(up from $ 15). I really liked their massage chair/beds as they were mechanical and folded all the way down comfortably. However the older gentleman masseuse that I got seemed a little lazy, inconsistent and lax even though the techniques he used were good. Why? First, he started later than the others who were working on my relatives(we all started the same time). He stopped and answered phone calls in the middle of my massage! He talked and laughed with the other masseuses– not something that would contribute to a telling environment. He would work on one arm, for instance, with one technique and the other arm with a different technique. And he finished my massage the same time as the others, which means I got short changed since he started later… The other masseuses didn’t seem as bad, so if I were to go back I would definitely get a different person.

This place is awesome. Came in Saturday night, and the place seems quiet but OMG, the masseuses are very skillful! The true Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon!!! Best massage in years!!!

For my wife and I, this place often gets added to our itinerary when we’re in the San Gabriel area and not in a rush to head back home. The first several times a male therapist was assigned to my wife and a female therapist assigned to me. We both prefer fairly strong massages, so the end result was that my wife was quite satisfied by the massages she received, while I left unimpressed by the quality and skill-level of the therapists. The problem was solved on our third visit when I simply requested one of the male therapists(Tommy) my wife thought would be able to provide an effective massage for me. Through subsequent visits we’ve come to the conclusion that the massages from most of the male therapists at this place are generally solid and effective.(For those of you guys that may not be comfortable with a male therapist massaging your face, just ask them to skip the face and just do more scalp or arm massage.) Funny side note — The only minor issue my wife had(she is Chinese, has a very charming personality, and is a great conversationalist!) was that some of the therapists liked to engage her in conversation. Never wanting to be rude, she wasn’t able to relax as she felt obligated to participate in conversations that often lasted the entire massage. This problem was resolved when she met Sam, who is an older therapist, provides what she feels is the most thorough, high-quality, hard-working massage at Embassy Leisure, and is very quiet! With all issues resolved, we feel that we can always count on getting a healing, restful and quiet(thanks to Sam!) massage whenever we stop in at Embassy Leisure.

Not a bad place but not a good place either. My family and I used to like coming here back in the day because of its pricing, but in my recent times it hasn’t been as good. Also I don’t like how it’s a really open room and they leave the doors open. There’s just not enough privacy in the room… Oh and to add, the workers live in a little«shack-like» place next door… so theyre usually all congregating together. there are too many people, it’s like a little village. Kinda creepy.

Come here a lot when I had time, came here again on a hungover day and felt so much better! Parking lot is next to Embassy Kitchen and Billiards. Warning: day time massage doesnt feel the same as a night time massage. You see how nasty and dirty the place is when theres light shining through all the doors and it’s just not a nice sight to see when you want to be relaxed. and massaged. Came here with friends and one happened to be a snorer, so that was kind of annoying, but other than that, its a good massage for the price. $ 15 for an hour. They soak your feet in hot water then the massage starts. Make sure to wear comfy loose clothes so they can give you a proper massage.

Located behind Tasty Choice and Embassy Billiards, tucked away down a small ramp leading to the entrance. They have huge reclining chairs for their foot massage which is only $ 15/hr. Super cheap and EVERY masseuse there is REALLY good. I went for the full body massage($ 30/hr). Go ahead and get completely bare for this one because you’ll be covered in a towel anyways. The full body massage comes fully loaded with oil, hot stones, and just a completely relaxing experience. I do have to take one star away because there are no private rooms, so you can hear people walk around and hear EVERY word of their conversation. They are literally five feet from you, and the only thing separating you and them is only a curtain. Nevertheless, great massage place. Will continue to come, despite the lack of private rooms because the massages are THAT good.

Warning: No masseuse. Only masseur. But it was ok. I loved the quality and right pressure intensity of the massage. Totally relaxing. With $ 15? Cheap and there was no reason to complain. I would go back and make another round of 15-buck pleasure.

This location is pretty hidden(right behind the embassy pool hall). $ 15 for a decent foot massage. Even though it’s «foot» massage, you can ask them to focus less on foot and more other other parts of the body you want. Just make sure to give them a nice tip(I usually do $ 10 and they are pretty happy about it). I really like the atmosphere inside. It feels super quiet and super spacious with a couple of TV playing chinese shows in the background. I have been taking my mom here for a few times now. That is an excuse for me to get a massage too: P Make sure you get your stamp card.

This place is a little hard to find Its located in the back so enter off of San Gabriel and go straight back and make a quick right and you will see the place on the left and down a slight hill Heard this was a VIP high end massage place for Taiwanese clientele back in the day Now its a $ 15 foot massage. They also have full body massage as well Main room for foot massage has a lot of space and not cramped like a lot of footie places in the 626. Also if you want privacy they have private rooms for another $ 5 so $ 20 for an 1 hour footie. It all depends on who you get here and if your a good tipper you get what you pay for especially when you come back . We get Tony and Jessica and Mr Mao. The two guys will give you a hard massage if your all stiffened up. We have been to alot of footie places in the 626 and 310 and we like this place due to the large regular room with a lot of space Make a reservation once you find someone you like since they are busy during peak times.(All day Sat and Sun and some days like Thu-Fri before dinner) Ample free parking in lot Tip: Get a stamp card and after your 10th massage get the next one free… Also Half and Half Tea is just up the street and many good places to eat in the area for post massage tea and eats! Would be five stars if masseuse didnot talk loud amongst themselves and some Asian customers have no respect with their ghetto ring tones and talking LOUD in their native tongue when they get a call…

I was introduced to this gem of a place through a local friend. She once told me about a community massage joint that only charged $ 15 for a full body, hour long massage. I was like, no way! And she was like, WAYY! I had a chance to check this place out once before and I’m now like, WAAAY!!! It’s totally true. If you’re taking the 210, take the San Gabriel cutoff and head south. Once you see the bowling alley on the right side, turn left. Remember to go behind the market and then go down the ramp where you’ll find the Embassy Leisure. Trust me, it looks sketchy but super legit! You’re taken to the side room. An open space with 16 total lounge chairs. The light is dim and the chairs are comfortable but kinda scary. Looks very old and needs to be reupholstered. At least you lay on clean towels. Then they bring you tea. The tea is delightful but full of all the pulp. Kinda weird but apparently authentic. They then stick your feet in a tub of hot water. REDEMPTION! All in the all, the massage is delightful and worth the $ 15 sticker price. I’ve been there 3 times already, so you know I love it there LOL. If you’re in the San Gabriel area, come check them out. Super awesome!

This is my go-to spot for foot/back massage! $ 15/hour for foot + back massage. Amazing service and the place also looks very fancy. The outside public area has dim-lighting with very spacious interior, big comfy reclining chairs, really does make you wanna fall asleep as you are getting great foot massage! There are also TVs around but they mute it(and also they just play mostly Chinese soap operas or news) and instead they have soothing Chinese instrumental music on in the background ;) So the $ 15/hour is for the outside public area. If you are more private and want to have your own room with your own TV(and a DVD player so you can bring you favorite movie to watch ;), it’s only $ 5 more, so it’s $ 20/hour. But they only have 2 rooms so you definitely have to request it earlier. The max number of people in each private room is 3. I’m definitely okay with the outside public area because I’m not one to watch TV as I’m getting my foot massage. It’s more than enough for me and I definitely feel relaxed afterwards. Speaking of which, my back is starting to hurt now and probably need a massage…

Embassy Leisure offers a short wait time when it comes to foot massages. Of course the quality of massage varies with the masseuse that you get. It’s a pretty decent place to get a foot massage and standard in pricing. $ 15 for an hour and tip on top of that. Embassy Leisure does need to work on maybe changing its carpet and massage chairs. There’s so many new foot massages in this area that Embassy Leisure should update its amenities to be more competitive. I have to admit that Embassy Leisure definitely isn’t as great as it used to be – but it’s still a pretty decent place to get a foot massage.

In my stay in the SGV with my friend, we did all the local stuff such as dim sum, boba and foot massage. Well, as so happens, we went to Embassy Leisure for our foot massage per his recommendation. From the outside, Embassy Leisure looks like a shady massage parlor. You know, the type that will ask you if you wand a «good ending». However, it is not; but, it does look a tad shady. When you enter the establishment, the ambiance is not really relaxing. There are rows of massage chairs lined up like an assembly line. They have three beautiful, large televisions going on at the same time for your viewing enjoyment. Unfortunately, the televisions are displaying three different channels and the volume for one station is being broad casted over the speakers; as well as the ambient music. Hence, this may cause listeners to become distorted. To add more to the noise confusion, the workers there speak very loud to each other as they massage you. Good luck if you expect to become relaxed with those three noise elements that I have described. I will say overall, my experience here was not the greatest. The massage could have been better. The prices here are cheaper than most, but for the overall value, I would look for another place.

Biggest regret of the week: not specially requesting a female masseuse. I ended up with an old Chinese guy who wouldn’t shut up and kept asking me a thousand questions. Plus he massaged my derrière for an excessively long time… Hmmm. For $ 15 an hour you pretty much get a full body massage. You keep your clothes on but they do bend your legs so ladies, wear pants or shorts. It’s customary to tip about $ 10 because they don’t make that much to begin with. Give it directly to the person helping you or they end up giving most of it to the house. They mostly only speak Chinese so if you don’t, bring a friend who does.

Hidden away in a cloooogey area of San Gabriel — right behind the Embassy pool hall is this hidden foot reflexology/massage parlor. It’s the kind of place I’d never wonder into had it not been for a friend who brought me here and insisted on their good service. I base massages on if I can fall asleep. To my delight, I did! My masseuse(whose name I didn’t catch) was a small framed middle aged Mandarin speaking woman. She had the perfect touch and I easily slipped into a doze when she massaged my scalp, neck, back, feet, legs. They have a large TV playing up front, so if you’re looking for something more relaxing than the glare of TV — ask for a towel to put over your eyes or bring a eye cover. If you want to drown out the minimal level of noise — bring your own headset and viola! DIY spa environment! $ 15 /hr but my friend had membership. so really $ 14. Then add in $ 5 for tip. Give it directly to your masseuse as I’ve heard the money left up front doesn’t always end up where you intended it.
