The problem is the old Service Manager left… and they use that as an excuse every chance they get. Actually that is the problem, but not in the sense that they use it. Justin (the past Service Manager) did a great job of working with you, scheduling the work, and had excellent Airstream knowledge. Well… he was replaced with 2 people (a Manager and a Supervisor) whose sum total of Airstream knowledge is pretty much nil.
I made a reservation about 5 – 6 weeks in advance and when we walked in they were caught completely by surprise. And then they told me that they «hoped» they had the part and, if they did, could get us out of there in a day or 2.
The problem is that we full-​time and this is our home… and arrangement were made to ensure we got in and out within the same day. Say what?
Luckily they did have the part and we did get out the same day. BUT, if were only that easy.
This is a long story so I will just give the highlights (actually lowlights). Nothing was happening and when I checked in at lunch. My trailer was sitting in the bay wide open (again, this is our home and we had all of our belongings in the trailer) with no one around. Also the frame was tweaked so bad I could only get the door within 6 inches of being closed.
No one was to be found so I found the Sales Manager and spoke with him. He helped me get things moving but I had to micromanage the project myself. The Service Manager was only there to shake my hand when I arrived and there with his litany of excuses when we left. That’s it… absent the 8 hours in between. And the supervisor was there sitting in his office doing who knows what. Not supervising that’s for sure.
Cadillac trailer… Yugo service.
Oh…and this is a good one. They said they will no longer be taking appointments for service. You drop it off and you’ll get it back when they’re damn good and ready. Nice.

In March I sideswiped some branches that were more (ahem) solid than I expected, and crumpled a goodly portion of the right rear corner of our little Airstream. A pricey repair job to be sure, and all my fault. Justin (new service manager) got me a quote right away so we could get some insurance help, and his crew did a fine job on the work.
The bright June day I went to pick up the trailer I happened to open the refrigerator and found several generations of flies had taken up residence there, covering every surface inside with eggs, larvae, used puparia, many many adult flies, and plenty of smelly brown residue. I’d never seen anything so fully involved. I mentioned it to Justin and he swung into action, saying «this needs to be taken care of now!» and tackling cleaning out the fridge with alacrity and a strong stomach (the occasional cry of «oh god» and «euch» notwithstanding).
I was all set to blame the fridge having been closed for an extended period, but as besmirched rags and dirty fridge parts started to exit the trailer, alongside were well-​past-​their-​prime frozen foods from our Death Valley trip in March. We had emptied the fridge but failed to empty the freezer! The carnage was entirely our fault.
In the end, Justin did a good job of a terrible task that he would have been well within his rights to refuse, and I am grateful.

I have been to every Airstream dealership in California as well as some in neighboring States. This is the only one that truly epitomizes the Airstream brand. It is a first class experience. The showroom is similar to what you would find at a high end car dealership. And the service department is first rate. I have had the misfortune of needing two aluminum body panels replaced on my Airstream due to accidental mishaps. I was worried that they would not be quite up to factory spec. Needless to say, the work was flawless. The entire service department of Lisa, Greg, and Steve are amazing. They strive to make sure that all your needs are met. I was one of the first people to purchase a trailer at Airstream Los Angeles and have referred several of my friends there. Repair for your airstream? Run don’t walk from these rude lying game playing unprofessional fools. We had a plan with them to drop off for a simple evaluation of a vintage sovereign airstream. Instead, after 8 weeks of the runaround and various stories, and nasty emails from the service department we gave up and gave them an ultimatum since we needed the RV for a vacation. The general manager at then instructed us he would be happy for us to come and pick it up immediately or start incurring storage fees. He stated he would not be interested in working on our airstream and to «have a wonderful day». What a prick to treat people in such a way we have never been treated by a professional organization like such a dismissed piece of worthless shit in all of my life. Looking forward to sending that voicemail from the GM to the corporate headquarters. peace out airstream bitches. Stay tuned for updates on repairs in Bellflower instead.

Airstream Los Angeles is a first class dealership. The moment you walk in you realize you are somewhere special. The showroom is gorgeous, the staff welcoming, and if you are looking for the definition of customer service, you need look no further than Airstream Los Angeles. They are the masters. From our salesperson, the owner, the shop manager and assistants, the dog sitter, and just everyone, there is no equal. (Yes, they even took care of our St. Bernard while we were shown around)
We stopped here «just to look», and came away proud new owners of our dream coach. Upon delivery two months later we were given a driving lesson and a thorough orientation to the trailer and it’s systems and felt very confident we could work everything in it by the time we departed on our 1000 mile journey home. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. We came away with many new friends and a wonderful new Airstream.

My wife and I have had such a wonderful experience. The dealer side is incredible, and the servicing side of the busines is also wonderful! Such nice people and fantastic service. Would highly recommend.

Had the pleasure of experiencing the AirStream dealership in the San Gabriel Valley last week. We were in the area and stumbled upon the dealership. What a pleasant surprise and treat. The dealership has taken an iconic brand and created an extremely classy dealerarship. The airstreams… inside and out… are just beautiful! And we can imagine vacationing in them one day!

Not Family Friendly, Do NOT bring your kids here.
Came to visit the dealership, what a horrible experience. Very snobbish attitude when we walked in to the showroom. Right off, we were confronted by two old ladies and they watched your every move. My kids were going inside one of the trailer, and immediately, one of the ladies said told them not to touch anything. What a turn off! The entire time, they followed and watched over you like a hawk not in a helpful way. They just wanted to make sure that you don’t break anything.
I have never been to a RV dealership like this before, at every other RV dealer, the sale people would involve the kids, they use the kids to influence the parents into the purchase. The have jumper and hot dogs to lure the kids in, this is the complete opposite.
If you don’t want your kids to feel belittle or harass, then go somewhere else. I doubt they will be in business too much longer with that type of attitude.
