Love this chiropractor office! I’ve been to one when I had an accident a few years ago in another city but this place doesn’t even compare. Dr. Chung is so helpful. He took me in when I had issues with m back which was a prolong pain from my previous acciden and he did an adjustment. He explained to me about how the adjustments worked and gave me tips for me to do at-​work stretches since I sit in front of a computer all day.
The office is very clean and the front desk reception was very great! I love their customer service. After my adjustment I sat on the massaging chair for 30 mins and it felt great.
My overall experience was amazing and would go back here for any back issues. They take walk-​ins too — so feel free to check it out. Bring your insurance card to see if your policy covers it.

It was my first time getting treatment here. I had some previous lower back pain. The doctor made me feel comfortable and showed he cares about his patients. The assistant, Amy was super sweet and funny. She helped me with the electrical stimulation with heating packs which helped relax my muscles and reduce muscle spasms. I also used the back adjustment chair that helped reduce the tension and stiffness in the spine. That was my favorite! It’s like a massage chair that worked my arms and full body from neck to back. The lights were turned off and I really got to relax! Overall, I had the most wonderful experience there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a chiropractor!

I was referred here by a friend of mine after getting into a car accident & needed some relief on back /​neck pain & was told the experience she had with her treatments here were excellent. I usually do a bit of a research before I decide whether or not I wanted to give any place a try. I came across the business on Unilocal and noticed all his good reviews & ratings and decided to just give it a chance. Let me just say, I don’t regret ever coming to this place. Dr. Chung is very knowledgeable and also caring. He offers a variety of treatments based on each individual’s needs. As for me, the different types of treatments I had here were:
Electrical stimulation with heat pack which relaxed my muscles & provided some pain relief.
Back adjustment that aided in reducing the tension and stiffness on my spine.
Spinal decompression that helped stretched my back from the tension I had built up.
Massage chair (my favorite) which included different functions and various types of massages which was really relaxing.
Overall, my experience here was great! I would definitely recommend any of my friends to this chiropractor!

I was referred here by my friend, and am so pleasantly surprised by this facility. The doctor, the staff, and the masseuse are heaven sent. They quickly checked my insurance and called me back to book a SAME DAY appointment. I’ve now gone twice, and I feel so much better.
I’ve been to two different chiropractors before and have never «played with» the types of machines they have here. One is like a reverse sit-​up machine that stretches the lower back/​hip, and one is a table you lay on that rolls this thing under you. I feel soooo good after.
Why can’t I find amazing places like this on the west side? :(oh well. I will drive all the way from Playa Del Rey just to come here!

My wife’s back pain is disappearing since we have been seeing Dr. Chung. He always fits us in to his schedule, and Amy gets us in and out smoothly without a wait. Dr. Chung listens and clearly explains the issues and treatment. He shared xray results right away and set us up with a treatment plan. The massage chair is awesome. My kids enjoyed the toys and movie in the waiting area. Very friendly and knowledgeable… we will definitely continue to make the drive over to this office.

I’ve been going to Dr. Chung for a few months now for my back aches and I can’t tell you how renewed I always feel after my visits. I walk in wound up and he just straightens me out. Amy is very sweet and pleasant to work with. She handles each patient from signing in to rescheduling appointments. It’s pretty crazy to watch how gracefully she goes from patient to patient, file to file, and room to room. I never wait long even on Saturdays when they’re opened half day. I’m usually called in within 15 minutes of signing in and taken to a room for the roller bed, simulation, or even the massage chair (THEY GOT A NEW ONE AND IT’S AMAZING!). Or you can always opt for an actual massage with one of their massage therapists. The massage rooms are very relaxing and the therapists really get to work on those knots. My favorite treatment is probably the decompression because it stretches out my spine before the doctor does the adjustments. The adjustments are quick and painless. Make sure you’re relaxed and breathe when he instructs you to so your muscles loosen up. He never tries to force anything so don’t be afraid that it’ll hurt.
I highly recommend visiting Dr. Chung if you’re seeking chiropractic care. The entire process is usually under an hour and the facility is very clean. Even if you or your guest (s) have to wait a bit, there is usually Netflix or the Travel Channel (from the times I can remember being in the waiting room). I think I even saw some kids playing with a box of toys once. It’s just rare to find a comfortable and convenient doctor’s office these days. I’m really glad I found this one.

After getting into an auto accident, my back and neck had started to feel dis-​comfort. As I was seeking a professional chiropractor, I was referred to Dr. Jason Chung’s office by a good friend of mine. I called in to make an appointment with Dr. Jason Chung. I spoke with a very nice receptionist named Amy, she work around my schedule and was able to pencil me in for the following day. As I arrived to the office on my appointment date, I was greeted with a big nice smile and greeting from Amy the receptionist that I had spoken with over phone. She offered me water and proceeded with the normal procedure with filling out a first time doctor visit application. Any questions I had, she was more then happy to assist me and answer any questions. After I was finish with my application, a very short time after I was invited into Dr. Chung’s office and had the great opportunity to meet him. He ask me about my incident and what type of pain I was feeling throughout my body. After giving the details of my pain, Dr. Chung immediately knew what type of treatment to give me. He first adjusted my neck and back, then I was able to spend some time on the bed roller, along with different machines to relax my muscles. I have been to different Chiropractors in the San Gabriel Valley and by far, I have had the most pleasing experience here at Advanced Chiropractic. After each visit, I always leave feeling great! If you have any type of back problems or neck problems that need Chiropractic treatment. Advanced Chiropractic Treatment Center is definitely the choice to pick. Had back problems for awhile now and was recommended by a friend to come in. Dr. Chung was very informative and helped me a lot with my pain! I got treated with a back adjustment, electrical stimulation, spinal decompression, and was introduced to a paraffin wax. I got each treatment done in a private room so it was nice to have your own space and privacy compared to other clinics. The first room I went in (with the spinal traction table) also had a massage chair and another table in it, so you may share the room with two other individuals. There are curtains that divide each machine so you still get your own space. The paraffin wax was really neat to try because it was a whole new concept for me. My hands felt more flexible afterwards and I had more of a range of motion. It was so fascinating! As I left the clinic, I felt more relaxed and my back wasn’t as stiff as it was prior to coming in. I feel like there’s less tension on my body. Thanks Dr. Chung for all your help!

I’ve been going to Dr. Chung since 2008. He’s amazing, very nice, and personable. I love getting my massages and my adjustments to relieve my knots, back pain, and tense back. I really enjoy the rolling table that’s loosens my back. Claudia is an amazing massage therapist. She has really strong hands that puts a very good amount of pressure to help break up my knots and relax my muscles. Amy the receptionist is very friendly. Everybody at the office is great.

I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am to find Dr. Chung. I’ve been having some major lower back pains for a few days straight (due to my workout) that has made it difficult to do the basic daily functions. I did a quick last minute search for a chiro since I’d be in the area.
After a few reviews and seeing some friends had been to his office, I made a call. Surprisingly, I got a chance to speak with Dr. Chung directly (not usually the case for him to answer). I wanted to make sure my insurance covered my doctor visits. After confirming I was able to schedule an appointment that same day.
I saw the doctor yesterday, and this morning my level has went from a ⁷⁄₈ to a ¾. Dr. Chung was able to feel the form of my spine and explain why I’ve been in so much pain.
After some muscle stimulations, and lower back stretches, he did a spinal adjustment. Right when I sat up, I could feel the looseness in my neck, shoulders and back.
Today, I feel so much better, slightly sore, but better than feeling sharp pains with every movement. I thank Dr. Chung and his assistant Amy in assisting me on my last minute 911 visit. Looking forward to my next Doctor visit. (Says no one, unless they have a good doctor, which I do now!)

I was referred from a friend after getting into a major accident. I was rear ended and sandwiched on the freeway. The staff her is very friendly. Dr Chung listens very well in regards to where you’re hurting and he’ll often explain things to you which I really like! He can also do x-​rays here so no need to go anywhere else!
Their office is cleaned and has a couple rooms. Sometimes you are in the same room with other patients but they have a divider so no need to feel weird. They have the roller machine, full-​body massage machine, and they also have the electrical, stimulate machine. I’m sure they have more UT those were the only ones I used.
I would recommend this place!

I keep forgetting to write a review and today I was reminded how amazing this place is. I suffer from severe back pain, the kind that when it strikes I am in bed for weeks. Dr. Chung is one of the most kind and gentle and knowledgeable chiropractors I have come across. Not only is he super thorough in his examination, but he is able to keep my pain under control and it’s pretty much nonexistent these days. I cannot recommend him enough!

2 days ago I developed this excruciating pain while stretching while sitting down at work. The pain got progressively worse as the day went on. After work, I went to see my Chiropractor @ «The Joint» in Glendale to get my back adjusted. The pain didn’t go away so I decided to go on Unilocal to find another Chiropractor that will help with my lower back pain. After 1 session with Dr. Chung, my pain was reduced significantly the following day. Most likely I will continue to go to Joint to get my back adjusted and come to Dr. Chung for any major issues + followup visits.

Dr. Chung is such a compassionate doctor. I really appreciate how he takes his time to go through the treatment and explain what we’re doing. He is very patient and helped me with my inflammation in knees and ankle with the ultrasound machine. I’ve been to many chiropractors and none have been able to adjust my neck. To my surprise, Dr. Chung was able to adjust my neck and it felt so much better! I’ve brought my dad to see the doctor as well and he felt better after first session with neck pain and scoliosis. Office staff is nice and respectful– a plus and rarity in doctor offices. Thank you Dr. Chung!!!

I have never been to a Chiropractor despite a couple of car accidents & several sports injuries. A friend recommended a doctor to me that took about 5 –10 mins to crack my back and told me come back in 1 week. I thought I had to deal with the chronic headaches that ensued forever. Then I found Dr. Chung thru Unilocal.The thing that caught my eye on his reviews was he had a massage therapist. How come nobody mentions a massage therapist in these reviews? So I book an appointment complete with an 1 hour massage therapy. I went in expecting a 1 hour session. But Dr. Chung helped me for over 2 ½ hours. Now I’m not saying he would do that for every patient but I am truly impressed. He & his staff made me feel like they really cared. Now I have no pain after 1 treatment & i am looking forward to my next session.

I have been getting treatments here for 5 plus years! Dr. Chung is extremely skilled and the staff are very professional. Appointments are confirmed and service are on time!

My back has been bothering my for few years now, so I decided to get it checked out.
The receptionist, Amy was very professional, friendly, and helpful.
Dr. Chung was very friendly and thorough. First, in his office he asked about any past experiences with chiropractors, and asked about my pain level and the location. He explained my concerns and condition clearly and proceeded with X-​rays and my treatment.
For my treatment: 20 – 30 minutes using these heating packs that vibrated, stimulating the muscles, then the chiropractic chair that extended, stretching the muscles for 5 minutes, then after 5 minutes he applied pressure to my muscles, then adjusted my back.
After, I laid on an electric massage table for 15 minutes, then a massage chair for 5 minutes.
After my treatment I got a 30 minute massage from the massage therapist, who was very friendly. She introduced herself and asked where most of my pain was for her to work on. She was very thorough and attentive.
There is a tip jar in the room for the massage therapist; it is $ 20 for a 30 minute massage with treatment, and $ 30 for 30 minutes without treatment.
Overall my back feels a lot better and I will be back to continue my treatments. I highly recommend Dr. Chung and his staff. They are professional, friendly, and are very thorough with the treatments as well as explaining the treatments and conditions.

First off, Michelle, the secretary (?), was my first point of contact and she was so nice and professional. She helped me make my appointments and also allowed me to cancel last minute when my dental appointment ran 3 hours late. I even talked to Dr. Chung before committing to the appointment to see if he had experience with my condition. He explained it thoroughly on the phone, and explained what treatment he had proposed for me.
When I came, he took the time to talk with me about my complaints. He did an Xray and explained to me everything about it — something my PCP would not even do. After the first treatment, my back felt so much lighter. Because of my scoliosis, my hips and legs hurt and sometimes I’m not able to walk. My neck and back also feel very heavy, making me want to lie down all day to ease the pain. He listened to my problems, and addressed them. I can’t say that the pain is gone, but it is improving.
I suggest finding parking outside the office, across the street from Gabrelino High! And to also ask as many questions as you’d like as to get a better understanding on why your back is hurting!

This place has an amazing service, and their hospitality is absolutely great! My friend and I went to surfing last weekend and he twisted his arm. So we thought we give it a try and go see dr Chung! After he’s done! My friend felt so much better. We will definitely coming back here.

Had back problems in between my shoulder blades for a few months, finally decided to try and fix it. Unilocal referred this place to me, being the highest rated and closest establishment to me, I tried it out. To everyone’s surprise, I was fixed!
But really, the rate of stars cannot do this place justice, for if you need an adjustment or a thorough body massage, they will have staff there that can fill your every need. Just make sure to make an appointment first if you don’t want to wait too long!
