Zumba With Charles

Charles is just an amazing zumba instructor! He is friendly and very energetic. The moves are great, and the lesson turns out to be a very good yet fun workout! Look forward to going to more of his classes.

Charles is an amazing zumba instructor. His energy is awesome and contagious. His classes always always rock! I highly recommend his class at Levy Studio.

I’d been wanting to take dance class and my friend invited me to this zumba.
She said she went to a couple of zumba classes but Charles was the best zumba teacher! And as she said, his class is always fantastic! I can keep moving with him no matter how it’s hard for me. I love Charles!

Best, best, BEST Zumba class ever!!! I am a dancer — danced all my life, and had a BLAST during his class. Charles has so much energy and keeps the class going full speed the entire time. There aren’t many classes that keep me challenged with my dance background — but this one definitely does. My friend that has no dance experience loves it as well, great for all levels.

Charles is fantastic. His class is a great workout, the dances are so much fun, and there’s no pressure to be an expert at the steps. My sweaty pleasure! ;)

Charles looks like a fairly normal guy until he starts to move and then HOLY CRAP — boy can dance. More than once per class, I’ll think «Charles, Shakira called and she wants her hips back.» He must also be in amazing aerobic shape, because his classes are pretty challenging. I haven’t been doing Zumba for very long, but I’d say they’re Intermediate/​Advanced. Not only do you have to get the steps down, but you’re going to work your butt off — which is awesome!
I forget how much the per class amount is b/​c I bought a package after my first class, and there is street parking.

I love Charles! I don’t go to his school but I attend his classes Fridays @ 24 HR Ocean. He was the first instructor for Zumba and I loved it. It was tough at first but you get the hang of it quick. I quickly came to like Charles’ Zumba class because as energetic as all Zumba teachers are, there just hasn’t been another instructor that gets me jumping around like Charles. I love his energy and his ability to teach dance moves to non kinesiological learners. I am still amazed to see a guy roll his body like Charles does. I have yet to master that move.
It just gets a little tough because the classes fill up really fast but its worth it regardless of the space. Charles makes the hour long dance workout fun and enjoyable and if I had more time I’d definitely check out his studio.

Charles’ class never disappoints. Always a fun, high energy, booty shaking class that leaves me sweating and having the time of my life! My absolute favorite favorite favorite zumba teacher in the city!

I began taking Zumba with Charles when my prior instructor, Alena, decided to travel the world. Having a bit of separation anxiety, I was hesitant at first because I didn’t know his routines. I soon came to discover that he was warm, welcoming, and I could follow quite easily. And what a great work out! Charles challenges you to do your best and always makes me smile. I love Charles, and am happy I took that chance with someone unfamiliar.
I’ve been cheating on him lately because my schedule wouldn’t allow metro get to his classes, but plan to be back during the summer!

Zumba with Charles rocks! I’ve taken zumba classes all over the bay area and many in México, but Charles in one of my favs. I get serious zumba «afterglow» following his class.

Charles is an amazing Zumba instructor. He has an upbeat, positive vibe, great music and choreography, and he leads his classes in a way that make his moves easy to follow. Charles is also a kind and generous person – I recently went to a fundraiser for a local public school that he agreed to lead – and in addition to it being a kick-​butt workout, it was for a great cause.

I was there when Charles went from dancing beside me in class to leading it on his own! Even his very first classes were AMAZING! He’s super high energy… you’ll be walking out drenched in sweat but still about dancing, not just about moving. All of his chereo is really fun to do and you forget you’re there for a workout. I’m SUPER sad I’m in LA now and can’t take his classes!

If you are looking for a high energy calories burner with an instructor who shows you the steps ahead of time and MOTIVATES, Zumba with Charles is for you! I love Charles’ class, such a great workout! Someitmes I don’t know where he gets his energy from… kind of Maniac on the dance floor. He knows how to shake and move and is a nice person to boot!

About Charles: He is an awesome instructor… full of energy, kind, sweet, friendly and with a warm heart. You will have no regret that you take his Zumba class. The music is upbeat, fun and sexy… I enjoy sooooo much every time dancing with him!

Ok, firstly, I admit it: I am a Zumba addict.
But what is worse is that I am actually a Zumba snob too. What I mean is that I need the following – all the the following:
— Gripping, loud, sexy, current music
— An instructor who motivates the class with infectious energy and joy.
— A community of folks who love to sweat, have a good time, and not take anything seriously except moving
— An easy venue to get to and/​or park easily
— An affordable cost
— Somewhere to change in and out of clothes
***And Charles has it all AND MORE!!!*** Plus he is just a great guy. That goes a long way for me too.

I am ADDICTED to Zumba with Charles. Or as I love to call him «Hips Don’t Lie» ;) Why you ask? Because he gives his students whiplash (in a good way) with the way he moves those hips! He is without a doubt one of the best Zumba instructors (and dancers) in San Francisco, with easy to follow cues (both verbal and hand cues), fresh playlists to keep his students wanting more, endless energy, and hot hot HOT choreos.
Do yourselves a favor and check out Charles Tuesday nights at Studio Gracia. You will leave craving more.

I LOVE zumba with charles… hate missing his class. I have been doing zumba for a while now and still get super excited tuesdays cause i get to go to charles’ class. He is an amazing instructor, its super fun, and has awesome dance moves. I just got certified to teach zumba and can’t wait to get some choreo skills from him :) if you haven’t gone to his class, he is a MUST in zumba!

If you like an energetic fitness class. Try Zumba with Charles. He has his choreo down and is non stop fun. I appreciate an instuctor with as much energy as Charles has from beginning to end. I especially like his classes at Studio Gracia

I have taken many zumba classes all over the city, and I was so happy to stumble upon Charles’s zumba class. I return each chance i get to dance with him. Hes an awesome instructor and i have noticed his smile is what lights up the room. Hes the Bee’s Knees!!!
