History
Established in 1958.
Young audiences of Northern California is one of 32 affiliates of Young Audiences, Inc., the nation’s leading source of arts-in-education services for schools and communities. The Northern California affiliate began to connect community artists with children in schools throughout the Bay Area in 1958. Currently we serve a ten-county region primarily reaching grades K-8 with arts programming that ranges from in-school assembly presentations and residencies to performances in public venues.
