is terrible. prices are terrible. service is terrible. the people who work there are terrible liars. the only thing they are interested in is pushing more of their overpriced product on you. service is absent. these are the worst kind of people on earth. avoid this crooked outfit at all costs.

Well you can’t get less than one star on Unilocal,so I begrudgingly give them one star.
I placed an order and receiving one of their daily emails. (They constantly email you trying to get you to place orders). I received a confirmation email and was told that the delivery would arrive on a Wednesday. Wednesday came and went and nothing. So I checked the tracking number. Apparently FedEx attempted to deliver the package at 10:30. Instead of buzzing the super for my building, FedEx did nothing (they didn’t even leave the delivery attempt slip). So I waited. Next day same thing. I check the tracking number and apparently FedEx tried to deliver it 10 minutes ago. Funny, I was home and nobody rang the bell.
I emailed
, no response.
I called FedEx. Fed would be more than happy to make another delivery attempt and I could schedule the time of delivery. However, for FedEx to actually deliver my package, I had to pay FedEx more money. (Is that some sort of delivery extortion?)
A third attempt goes by and of course I’m not home. I complain to
, no response.
I call FedEx. The phone operator tells me I have to drive about 1 hour to their storage facility and pick up the package myself between the hours of 9 and 5. Painfully, I make the drive and arrive at 2:55. FedEx doorman tells me packages can’t be picked up till 4 pm. I tell him that the operator told me otherwise. He tells me that the operator was wrong, that I should sit and wait another hour, and then he turns his back and walks away (must be the FedEx equivalent of dropping the mic).

Lousy customer service and very high prices relative to their peers. A google search and you will find better pricing, service and quality elsewhere. So many better choices in the San Francisco bay area.

Service is decent, but after ordering a few cases from them I discovered that their prices were higher than other retailers on every single wine I’d purchased, including those which were on sale. By from them for convenience if you choose, but don’t kid yourself that you’re saving money. I recommend K&L Wines for consistently fair prices.

I used to buy a LOT at this site. I always look for some coupons to save some money on great (expensive) wines and go in person to pick up the order at a close by warehouse in Medley Florida.
Despite the coupons I normally spend from $ 200 to $ 1000 every few months.
Now many problems has occurred, one wine that was advertised at $ 7.99 and I ordered 20 bottles didn’t went thru bad next day the price was double. Nobody wanted to match the old price.
More recent (yesterday) I placed an order for $ 105 and applied a coupon for $ 30 off. Since I was going to pick this up (as always) I chat with a client rep online to get an adjustment on the shipping charges, she did adjusted that but the $ 30 off coupon was gone and now I have dedicate half a day to get this resolve and still the best they want to offer is a $ 30 credit (to apply on future orders).
I said NO.
The coupon was meant to save me $ 30, to have those $ 30 in my pocket not into the corporation bank account.
Poor costumer services and inefficient website that makes unclear which orders qualify for Local Pick up an which doesn’t.
I’ll move all my business to the newest — closet Total Wine & More. I have gone there many times and they do whatever to make you happy and save you some money!
