Are you ever shopping and feel that pang of guilt thinking about all the poor people in sweat shops it takes to get that shirt you are buying? Well. wildlife works is a guilt free way to buy clothes AND do something good. The clothes are made in Kenya that helps a community have a sustainable business and saves the wildlife at the same time. Not to mention the clothes are cute and organic, and the staff helpful. Its about time someone started a great business like this!

I enjoy supporting businesses on my street – especially business that contribute to sustaining our environment. Okay.honestly.good cause or not. I just like to spend money on a slow afternoon… This store has some really darn cute accessories – I walked in and within 5 minutes I picked out an organic cotton scarf with leopard print and a super cool cuff made of recycled vinyl records and the partial proceeds goes to music programs for kids in Brooklyn schools… sweet.

San Francisco’s first 100% sustainable fashion boutique! I’m employed by the company myself, and we’ve just opened a contemporary retail store to promote our cause. We save animals, we provide jobs, how could you NOT love us?! :-) «Founded in San Francisco in 1997, we are the world’s first business designed from the ground up around a consumer brand that stands for wildlife conservation. Our promise to every customer is that we use the proceeds of our product sales to save endangered and threatened wildlife around the globe. We’re achieving this by protecting wilderness habitats, creating jobs, building schools and providing other economic benefits for those people who share their land and resources with wildlife. In our first location in Kenya, Africa, we created the 80,000-acre Rukinga Wildlife Sanctuary, where elephants, cheetahs and 45 other large mammal species now roam freely. In addition, we built and operate our Eco-factory next to the sanctuary, where we employ members of the local community to create some of our products.»

Super cute clothing that is good for the environment and a portion goes to help save animals from extinction. I especially love their t shirts and lounge wear. It is the first organic sustainable fashion boutique in San Francisco!
