Wells Fargo Bank

Horrible experience, teller’s manager is horrible — the way he approaches to costumers is really annoying — no smile no introduction he looks at u like u are a thief or about to do something. It’s unprofessional and very sad for wellsfargo.
Don’t ever want to go back there and this is exactly the reason why I don’t wanna deal my money with them and have my account there.

This isn’t my neighborhood branch but I was in the area and thought I’d stop in to try to deal with a bit of account maintenance that had been plaguing me for literally years.
Everyone was extremely friendly and greeted me immediately. I was helped right away by a couple of the representatives there.
Long story short: the thing I had to do had to be done during a small time window a few weeks in the future (stupid but not their fault) and of course I was going to be out of town then. But the gentleman helping me, Otto, said that he would be sure to submit the paperwork for me when the time came.
Sure enough, a month later, I got a letter from Otto saying that everything had been taken care of. (And so far as I can tell, it has been). So, thanks for that!

Only been here a couple times to make out a cashiers check each time. The lines moved pretty fast and I was greeted by either the branch manager or customer service rep. Having worked at a Wells Fargo branch in the past, they do a pretty good job with the customer service part. Some people may think the teller role is scripted but that’s how they’re trained… They need to attempt to find the best solution for customers and it can be stressful when you don’t meet those sales quotas. I think they also have a private parking lot as well and it’s located in a good location.

A couple of hours ago I stopped into this specific Wells Fargo to renew my credit card that had expired.
Last year, I expected to get a new one (before the expiration date) in the mail like I was told I would, ended up not receiving one, had to go into a Wells Fargo, talk to a teller and have him set me up for a new one to be sent. So, this year, when I did not receive a new one in the mail, I at least knew exactly what I needed to do!
So, I walk in to this Wells Fargo, and am instantly greeted (good job on that, I suppose) by one of their tellers. She asked how she could help me, and I told her, «Oh! Actually! You’re just who I wanted to talk to, I needed to talk directly to a teller last time this happened!» I explained that I needed to renew my credit card, and before I could even finish my sentence she stopped me at «credit card» and INSISTED that Wells Fargo has nothing to do with credit cards, they couldn’t look at my credit card account through Wells Fargo, they couldn’t see my credit card records-​literally, she was telling me that if it had ANYTHING to do with my credit card they couldn’t do anything about it and I needed to call the number on the back of my card (which she didn’t know I had already done and gotten nowhere with). I took out my card to show her it was a Wells Fargo issued Visa card (thinking maybe she was confused with my question?) and explained my experience from last year, making me pretty positive that this is what I needed to do to get a renewed card. She again just kept repeating, «No, No, No» and then literally started walking me to the door. It was almost humorous. She started feeding me all of this nonsense that made zero sense in any language about like the banking system and why they couldnt help me with renewing my credit card. Before leaving, one last time I turned to her and asked, «Are you sure? I really feel like this same thing happened to me last year and.» she responded with, «Yes. I’m pretty sure» and told me to have a nice day and she’ll see me again soon.

Minutes later, I drove down the street to the wonderful Wells Fargo on Noriega and guess who renewed my card right then and there, that’s right, the Noriega Branch.
Just a tip to the banker at this branch– figure out what you are talking about.

I’ve had good experiences here, especially starting up my business acct with David.

The tellers here are kinda slow when I making deposits.

i was greeted in Chinese… i am as white as they come. that was just weird.
3-​stars for the tellers for being nice (although too scripted, not personable and almost robot-​esque) and not trying to cross-​sell me products. wells is a good transactional bank, anything investment wise goes elsewhere.

Couldn’t say much about this place but it seemed pretty typical.
I’ve only visited this location a handful of times and each time I came, the tellers were very well groomed, inviting and had great customer service. Nothing stood out and made this branch over the top, but the location was impeccably clean, the service was awesome and I didn’t have to wait forever in line.
It’s weird but it seemed almost robotic in a way, like twilight zone-​ish. I can’t put my finger on it.

A good neighborhood bank. They are friendly and helpful every time we have come in. Jenny is particularly efficient.

Very nice greeters and personal bankers. They try to make you open an account, but you get a free wells fargo chair!

I’ve had FAR worse exchanges at Wells Fargos in Southern California.
On walking in, three different people around desks close to the door shouted their greetings, asking what I was there for today. One lady did everything but hold my hand guiding me to the line and telling me that so-​and-​so was going to do her best to help me out today.
All I had to do was cash a check, the teller indulged in some small talk about the crazy weather, and I left as employees I walked by yelled out, «Goodbye! Thanks for coming in today!»
It was like doing business in a commercial. Since I didn’t open an account, or request a receipt, I guess I just didn’t have the same experiences as the 1-​star reviewers. I was in and out without any trouble.

People here are nice but they made me close my savings account cuz i don’t use it. But I have to maintain $ 1000 in my checking. I don’t have $ 1000 so I would rather have a savings account and have a recurring $ 75 transfer. So after they made me close it I went back to re-​open it. Kinda annoying.

Wells Fargo isn’t my bank, but I came here today with a friend.
Yeah…I heard they charge you for a receipt when you withdraw money from the Wells Fargo ATM outside. WHAT?! My bank doesn’t do this, didn’t know of any bank that did. According to the other Unilocalers, this isn’t exactly the place where I’d want to open a bank account. Don’t worry, I never will.
Okay, well… I’m here to Unilocal about my experience at Wells Fargo today. HAHA my friend brought her doggy bank, yes a doggy bank to deposit a BAJILLION coins. GUESS WHAT?! They don’t have a coin sorter. FYI, this isn’t the first time I went to a bank and they didn’t have a coin sorter. The other time was at… Sterling Bank, the guy helped me count it… Wells Fargo also does not have a coin sorter, I asked the teller that was helping us. So the my friend, the teller and myself were counting coins like… there isn’t even a word for it. Ended up with over $ 50 in coins, CHA CHINGGGGG. The lady was nice enough to help us count coins and whatnot. You could tell she was young and new.
Overall, my experience today at Wells Fargo was okay. I’ve been here a few other times, but this is the only memorable experience worth Unilocaling about.

I only opened a bank account here because I wanted to help my friend out, but I guess helping people just doesn’t work all the time. Well, I really like the online access to my bank account, but thats about it. The only thing that really bothered me is their service. I mean, yes, saturday might be a slow day, but when I walk up to the counter don’t start yawning and look bored. From that moment, it got on my nerves. And it was some punk-​looking kid who was helping me-​in a rude way. I didn’t even have a chance to ask about my balance on my bank account. He just threw me my receipt and said thank you in a very rude way. (As you can tell, I dislike rude people).

i know this is my bank so why the two stars. Ive been anally raped for ATM service charges, I been paying overdraft fees ever since i bank here.
I don’t know why I bank here still. maybe i just too lazy. anyway, I’m starting hate my bank, they have given me anything free like most banks do.
The tellers here are very slow, they seem to be former Disneyland employees or something. They smile and dint give a rat #$ about you or your questions. Don’t come here for your banking needs, they have terrible service. the ATM machines are always out of order.
