We Park

THIS PLACE IS FULL OF THIEVES! DO NOT PARK HERE!
Last night we parked at this garage under the recommendation of a different garage who closed at 10 PM. When we pulled in as other reviews state there was a clear sign that stated it was $ 15 for event parking. When parking the guy was really abrupt with me, I park in the city all the time and event parking is always paid up front. I tried to pay him and he said «no, no pay after» setting up their con game.
When we returned for the car the attendant a man about 6 feet tall with a shaved head and an attitude pretended he couldn’t find our car to get disorient us, then when he showed up with the car told me it was $ 26 and insisted he had worked their 4 years and never heard of a $ 15 parking charge. When I told him I just don’t have it, and pushed him on it he finally gave in but took my entire $ 20 without giving me change and aggressively insisted that there was a «Parking Tax» in SF. He either the garage is crooked or these guys are skimming for drug money. I was furious and it ruined a great evening at Cobb’s. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS PLACE! It’s a trap and a con.

I can’t stress enough to anyone to NOT park here!!!
A coworker and I parked here last night. The staff was EXTREMELY rude (guy with curly black hair and Versace glasses who would not tell us his name) and insulting.
He stumbled over to us in a slow daze when we arrived at the garage and smelled like pot. He told us where to park and we asked if we needed to do anything else, (i.e., give him our keys?) and he said Nope-​we were all set.
We came back about an hour and a half or so later, and he told us it would be $ 15 for parking AND AN ADDITIONAL $ 45 for forgetting to leave our car keys. We were outraged! There were only about 6 other cars parked in the whole garage, first of all, and second of all, we pointed out that he should have told us that when we asked if we needed to do anything else after parking. I told him it seemed like he had just finished smoking a joint before we pulled in, we could smell it on him and everything, and asked why he didn’t take the keys. He got all shifty and made up a lie that he had tried chasing us down the street but we walked too fast. Lies!
Then he said we were probably coke-​heads. What a jerk! I don’t do drugs. In fact, I make fun of drugs (I lost me meth!). He was talking to us like we knew each other and were fighting about something and slinging insults. The whole time, his coworker was sitting there laughing at him for getting called out on being high on the job.
Because he is a gentleman, my friend got stuck paying the $ 45 in arbitrary fees, cash, to this kid who probably pocketed the money. The only «paper trail» he could have made was to jot it down on a notepad. I would definitely not trust this rude young guy or his friend with my car keys, period. If you park here, you will be stuck doing all the work, and make sure you take everything out of your trunk. Or… go to a competitor’s garage like the one at 721 Filbert, where we should’ve parked in the first place.
