Left a dress to take in and they completely botch the $ 200 dress. I stressed so much how important this dress was as its for a wedding I’m a bridesmaid at the dress is unwearable at its current state. Who knows if its fixable and how much Ill have to pay to fix it. Please do not use this place for alterations ever.

The people at this dry cleaning business are always so friendly. I’ve been going here for 4.5 years now and haven’t had a negative experience.
They’re not open on Sundays but are open pretty late on weekdays. I love their succulent and orchid plants displayed in the store.

The dry cleaning and tailoring services are top notch but what really keeps me coming back is how warm and friendly everyone is at Water Lilly. They really appreciate their clients and show it!

Water Lily (Francisco) Cleaners does a great job cleaning and altering my clothes, and they have very reasonable prices. They’re also very friendly!

I’ve moved to Marin and unable to find anyone like them. Lets just say, I wear my clothes and don’t hold back on life. They somehow always got the stains out. I miss them but highly recommend them!

I brought my summer suit here back in November, 2011 for winter cleaning. I picked it up shortly after and placed directly in the back of my closet in the plastic bag. I recently pulled it out in April, 2012, only to find that my suit was ruined with bleach stains on the suit jacket and pants.
I called them immediately to inform them of the situation and instead of being flexible with me they insisted that it was impossible that it happened there. (I don’t even own bleach and I’m not sure how a suit gets bleach on it in a plastic bag in the back of a closet.) Anyhow, I would never go back to this cleaners and I recommend that you stay away from them unless you want to risk having your clothes ruined. It’s one thing if they accidentally ruin an article of clothing, but they should be honest and accountable in these situations.
I’m currently taking them to small claims court to seek compensation because they were unwilling to even consider sharing the cost of replacing the suit.
Beware of this business…

Awesome dry cleaner, shirts and pants come back clean and perfectly pressed.

13 dollars to dry clean a nice coat. The lady is really friendly and accommodating. I got my coat back cleaned, pressed, and a stray button fixed. A solid dry cleaners!

I’ve yet to fully understand how I manage to kick the shit out of my clothes within just 2 or 3 wears. But I do, and as a consequence I need a cleaner that meets the following criteria:
a) Close to home
b) Not too pricey
c) Stain-​removifies like whoah (srsly)
d) Alterations
e) Accepts cards
f) Open until at least 7 p.m. on weekdays
It’s testament to my trust in Unilocal and its reviewers that I brought Water Lily (on my first visit, no less):
A white silk shirt (stained with salad dressing. Obviously)
My *favorite* orange coat (hole + in need of a brighten)
Work pants #1 (unraveled hem. I am an aggressive walker)
Work pants #2 (brutal encounter with soup lunch)
Results of said visit:
White silk shirt stain = removed (I was convinced this shirt was dunzo)
Orange coat = mended and restored to its proper blinding glory
Work pants #1 = hemmed
Work pants #2 = nary a spot of soup to be seen
I paid $ 36 for all of the above, and got everything within 3 days. Wish these folks were open until nine, but… BOOM.

I had a friend who lived in North Beach and raved about yes, a dry cleaner. I started using them and realized why he talked them up. Nikki and Jimmy have been doing our dry cleaning for 5 years now and our clothes are always done perfectly and on time. I also have gotten a few suits tailored there and they turned out great.
Do it!

My favorite dry cleaners in the city. The owners are very friendly and remember your name after a few visits. The wife does great alterations and has fixed a few minor things for free when I drop of clothes to be dry cleaned. A few times spots weren’t gone from my clothing and they recleaned them for free. I would definitely recommend them. If you need something major cleaned in a rush (such as a comforter) I would go somewhere else as they ship bigger items away to be cleaned and it takes over a week.

You can get your blouses cleaned, your skirts and dresses come back immaculate. Clean slacks are a must for me, so I bring them here. I tried another cleaner near where I work, and that one time was enough for me. I will keep coming back to Water Lily Cleaners. One time my slacks had split along the rear seam (diet anyone?), and they pointed it out and recommended they fix it — for a fee. Hell yeah, I was a yes for that. The pants were repaired and cleaned on the same visit. Good stuff.
These people are in the service business, so they live or die depending on their level of service. Long live Water Lily Cleaners.

Niki and Jimmy provide warm and friendly service. I live right around the corner and depend on them for all my dry cleaning and alterations. My good friend gets full suites altered by Niki and she does a great job. I am always pleased with the work they do.

They lost one of my shirts! I told them about it and they looked at me like «wasnt us». Two places my shirts go. in a hamper and the dry cleaners. So bottom line they lost my shirt. Their defense was that they counted X number of shirts when I dropped off and that was the same number that came back. Ok fine what can I say. The next week I drop off several shirts and 3 suits… When I left and looked at the tag it said only 2 suits!!! Walked back in and the guy very nonchalantly said oh sorry let me correct your ticket??? So not too hard to understand where my shirt is… in someone elses closet!!! If i spend 50 – 75 bucks every two weeks with you, wouldnt you just replace the shirt to keep my business???

After trying several dry cleaners in the area, Water Lily Cleaner is the best. I’ve found that they’ve taken extra care — without my ever asking — to remove stains, repair buttons, remove pilling from our sweaters, and fix things that need to be repaired. I highly recommend!

I’ve been taking my dry cleaning here for 5 years… even though I moved out of the neighborhood 2 ½ years ago. The two employees who handle the orders are friendly and responsive. There was a mistake once in my order so they gave me a credit. Their prices are reasonable and they meet their deadlines. Although I do have to go out of my way (3 neighborhoods over), I don’t mind for the peace of mind and great service.

They’re super swell because if the bus comes as your standing there waiting, they’ll just let you throw your stuff on the counter and go so you can catch the bus!
Right down the street from my apartment– I’ve dropped stuff off here a few times, although not regularly. I always need something cleaned or fixed at the last minute and they are super quick if you let them know. I’ve dropped things off in the morning and had them turn it around by the time I got home from work. They also give you your own hangers back which is super cool if you are paranoid about wire hangers. (Mommy Dearest anyone?)
Had some shirts tailored and that was a little spendy but overall a decent place if you need it.

Water Lily is very close to my apartment so I decided to give them a try. I would have given them 5 stars, but they completed my wash ‘n fold laundry in two days (dropped on Tuesday and picked up on Thursday). Other than that, they are reasonably priced, friendly and reliable. I will be going to them on a regular basis.
