Jumbe is just an amazing person. He is incredibly talented as a practitioner. He is one of the best listeners and communicators I have ever come across. He has helped guide my life in a more positive direction. He is a healer.
His acupuncture is always amazing, it helps to recharge and rebalance. I get it for stress relief, travel recovery, and sleep cycle realignment, along with the occasional ache or pain. I am so refreshed and focused after my session.

I was referred to Jumbe more than 2 years ago to help me during a time of great stress. His treatments helped calm me, regulate my sleep, and ward off tension headaches. Additionally his treatments and herbal remedies have continued to bolster my immunity, especially during cold season. I have continued to see Jumbe occasionally to recenter and restore my health and wellbeing. I highly recommend acupuncture with Jumbe. This man works magic.

I’ve seen Jumbe on and off since 2006. He is very skilled and a wonderful person. After being treated by him all of my doubts about whether acupuncture really works were put to rest. I will always go to him for acupuncture when needed and will always recommend him to my friends and family.

I have been seeing Jumbe for over 7 years — he is a phenomenal acupunturist and I consider him to be my primary healthcare. I remember my first appointment, when Jumbe took my pulse and asked me about my sleep (which had not been great) — that night I had the most restful sleep of my life, and woke up feeling more refreshed and alert than I had in months. Needless to say, changing the quality of my sleep enhanced many other aspects of my life, and gave me the energy I needed as a busy entrepreneur. Since helping me resolve my sleep issues, I have continued to see Jumbe as necessary whenever something comes up — from a sinus infection or chest cold, to helping regulate my cycle and hormones while trying to get pregnant, as well as post partum support for fatigue and breastfeeding. Jumbe has been there throughout many major life transitions for me and I am so grateful to have had his support. Jumbe is a true healer and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I was referred to Jumbe in 2009 when I was dealing with a serious medical condition and I’ll echo what others have said here, not only are his treatments effective but his approach and yes his patient-​side skills are absolutely great. I was seeing Jumbe at the same time I was undergoing traditional (western) medical care on an outpatient basis at a San Francisco hospital. Jumbe factored in the western care I was receiving (even reviewing copies of my bloodwork and other tests) and my hospital physician knew that I was seeing Jumbe. My dual-​track treatments went extremely well and I am happy to report that I am in top notch shape today. I have continued to see Jumbe for occasional «maintenance» acupuncture and I use his herbal treatments first before turning to pharmaceuticals when I have some kind of issue like flu/​congestion. I find them effective and gentler on the system.
I had never gone to an acupuncturist before my 2009 condition cropped up. I am so glad for the referral to Jumbe. Whether you are comfortable and experienced with Acupuncture or have never tried it, I strongly encourage you to try Jumbe if you were even thinking about it. He really is fantastic. When I first sought treatment I didn’t even fully «believe» in the efficacy of Eastern Medicine, but now I know how powerful and gentle the healing process can be!
Friends urged me to see Jumbe when I was dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis at 40 — I was frightened for myself and my young family, uncertain about how I could withstand chemo and radiation not to mention the surgery. Jumbe helped me through all of that and more. I was able to keep calm, get through the harsh treatments with more resolve, strength and dignity and also far fewer side effects than any one I know of who has endured the same.
Six years out and I know I owe my vigor and well being in a large part to Jumbe’s excellent care — and to top it all off I genuinely enjoy the man’s company! He is funny and kind, experienced — a real person with a family and a realistic world view. A true healer with out a doubt, but all wrapped up in a modern person that you can relate to.

I have been seeing Jumbe on and off for 15 years. Whenever I have symptoms of getting sick, I go to him immediately, and he makes them go away. When I had some hip pain, he made that go away. When I need more energy, he gives me treatments that are both deeply relaxing and energizing. He has a healing presence, a twinkle in his eye, and a philosophical bent. I highly recommend him.

I first came to Jumbe because I had Bell’s Palsy. I was extremely sad and frustrated by the condition and loss of movement on half of my face. I wanted to go to someone I could really trust to treat the nerves in the face and Jumbe came recommended to me.
