Vibrant Reiki

I just took Anna’s Reiki 1 Class. Anna is a fabulous teacher! She’s has a vast amount of knowledge and is full of vigor and luminous light. She is very playful, fun, and passionate about her work. I learned a lot and I would definitely recommend taking her class and/​or getting a reiki treatment from her.

My heart is full of immense gratitude for having found Anna and Vibrant Reiki in 2010. In the past 6 years my life has undergone enormous shifts and expansions and I have felt truly blessed to walk in my grief, healing and transformation with her support, love and encouragement. I hope to know her for many more years to come. After my first session with Anna, and for the first time in my life, I cried tears of joy. pure and unfiltered joy. And I will tell you that life is so different once you know that this is possible. How can I ever say…“thank you, from the fullness of my beaming little heart.”
If you are curious about any of the classes, sessions or offerings, this is a place you will not regret finally discovering. This is a magical, and I mean Magical, place of learning, growing, curiosity, support, laughter, sharing, diving, swimming, leaping, soaring, authenticity and love… simply put, it is pure magic.
6 years ago I joked about choosing Vibrant Reiki for my Shoden/​Reiki I attunement because it seemed like the kind of place where I’d get ‘more bang for my buck.’ Good job intuition! Did I ever make the best life-​affirming decision :)
I just completed my Shinpiden/​Reiki III training in the Usui lineage and feel I have gained so much from this practice and from having such an incredible teacher. Anna and what she has created is a reflection of love and a testament to what is possible in healing community. The authentic and loving energy she brings and the kind of space she holds is truly a gift.

I have completed usui reiki master and a few other classes and gatherings with Anna and some dear classmates. Anna holds such intimate, genuine and graceful space for everyone who’s found a calling in healing. I would recommend anyone who has even the slightest curiosty in reiki, energy healing or shamanism, to experience Anna’s teaching, or even just the mere energy she emits, in her groups and gatherings. Anna’s teaching plants seeds and encourages mindful self-​discovery in the process. Personally, I feel deeply resonated with Anna’s teaching style which, i think, allows expansion for inner growth in addition to specific knowledge in Reiki and Shamanism. i would specifically recommend women to experience Anna’s group for I (personally) feel Anna emits such gentle yet affirming feminine energy which is very enabling. It’s been a blessing, an intimate, ongoing Life experience going to anna’s classes and events. Forever Grateful to have found Vibrant Reiki and Anna!

Let me begin by just saying: Anna Dorian is better than perfect. I have been blessed to have many wonderful teachers in my life, but Anna is very special– *fully* present and aware, fully connected to each and every member of the group, so generous, loving, in full integrity, fierce, hilarious, goofy, and truly gifted as a teacher and a practitioner. She and the Reiki III/​Shinpiden group invited me into their circle as one of their own, and I am forever grateful for the transformation and the deepening Anna has facilitated. The weekend was absolutely packed with incredible knowledge, experience, love, and pure magic. As soon as I walked through the door, I was swept up into the most validating, unconditional hug I’ve received in a long time (if ever!) and I knew I was home. Anna sees you and WANTS to see you.
As a teacher, these words of recommendation will just keep falling short. Anna has brought Reiki back to life for me in such a vibrant way– she lives up to and goes beyond anything you are reading here can convey. My healing toolbox is seriously brimming with treasure. Just trust me– go learn with her. You will be changed for the highest good.

Its so difficult to find good teachers in general. Finding a good energy healing teacher can be an even bigger obstacle course. Yet somehow I landed in this school, and to me the biggest teaching was what to look for in a teacher. Isn’t that interesting?
And so because I benefitted so much from this lesson, I’d like to offer you what to look for in a teacher: (1) they don’t operate on fear based principles — «you must do it like this or it wont work», «you need to put boundaries up», etc etc. (2) they don’t tell you what to do or how to feel — they let you experience it for yourself and they don’t take your power away (3) they are joy. When you leave the class, you may feel exhausted/​irritated/​impatient/​challenged but you are fulfilled/​excited. (4) You are set free. There is nothing rigid about your experience. (5) Healers typically have had a lot they’ve been through — its just the nature of the beast. But regardless of what they’ve been through an awesome healing teacher does not drag his/​her shit into class. (6) Theres too little emphasis on the value of things being fun and playing with different perspectives in our society. A great teacher makes even the most mundane experiences funny or silly
So, safe to say, I learned from the only teacher who’s ever been worthy of being called a teacher. Isn’t it interesting that the unicorn is her logo/​symbol? She really is a unicorn in a world full of ponies. And in a way I’m glad I had all those terrible experiences prior, so I can fully come to love and appreciate Anna in her entirety. Isn’t it funny how the universe works? This is why I almost think I came to this school to learn just that — how to be a knock-​your-​socks-​off teacher. Eventually, I know I will be teaching in some capacity, so this lesson was profound for me.
Now to comment on the things that were actually taught. The ratio of talking to doing was perfect. It was a ³⁰⁄₇₀ split. Why is this awesome? Because in our society we are so god damn heady that if we theorize and theorize anymore than we already do, we might as well just give up on energy completely. Doing and doing and DOING is key. It gives you confidence and you learn so much more that way, because what is true for someone else is probably only 20% true for you — and you must must MUST learn what your truth is.
If by any chance you got to the bottom of this review, I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to read it. I promise you you have already benefitted hugely from my experience. I hope that when you go out into the world you find the right teachers and leave out the bad ones. Our society will benefit tremendously if even ONE person goes out into the world knowing and demanding great learning and great teachers.

I just finished Anna’s Reiki I: Shoden Level training this weekend. Anna is warm, welcoming, playful, and full of love. She created a safe, inviting environment to learn about Reiki and connect with a wonderful group of people. I cant recommend her and this class more.
I had been curious about Reiki, and a friend recommended Vibrant Reiki and Anna. Her website is full of information and energy, and she is amazing in person. I can’t wait to sign up for my next class!

I was pleasantly surprised by this powerful and gentle leader/​teacher. She is able to actively listen to all and hold genuine space while doing so. She teaches with so much love. She emanates what Reiki is. I came in very little Reiki knowledge and experience. It didn’t matter. She was thorough and respectful of the lineage and taught with such passion. She would review points, and sum things up nicely. It is easy to drift, but Anna had a way of keeping her students engaged. We shared a lot. Our feelings were important and as one student said with humor, «I’ve never had to talk about my feelings this much», and there was so much validation.
I make this sound so positive. Well, it is. It is a great way to be in the world. Honored, respected, love and heard. It is a great learning environment. It should be. Reiki is love, a universal life force. I would highly recommend her. She is very passionate and committed to the teaching Reiki

Anna is an incredible, warm and genuine spirit and healer. By sheer serendipity I found her on Unilocal and she was able to squeeze me into her already full Reiki 1/​Shoden level class, when I explained my reasons for needing to learn Reiki. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. Spending time with Anna and her lovely team, and the wonderful group of people who gathered to hold space and share their experience while learning reiki was a blessed and transforming experience. If you’ve ever wondered about reiki — go to Anna’s clinic. Even for the skeptical, put aside your skeptic mind and go. See what reiki is about and you will find your feet on the path to a different journey, and one that is necessary for you. Reiki comes to those who need it. Anna is made of magic and stardust and joy and light and, most of all, LOVE. She shares this love with everyone she meets, and her passion for healing work is beautifully contagious.
After somehow falling upon her website, I was called to join her Reiki I: Shoden Level training. We just finished our time together yesterday, and I have to say that this was one of the most extraordinary experiences I’ve had in my life. Our group came in as strangers, and by the end of two days we felt like family. Anna (and her amazing team of beautiful healers) supported us all to get to know one another and to connect on a deep and joyful level, and she celebrated our Reiki learning journeys as individuals and as a collective. The training itself was FANTASTIC. She offered a perfect balance of discussion, theory, history, techniques, and hands-​on learning and partner work. I can’t say enough as to how incredible Anna is and how MUCH I got out of this weekend. I feel forever changed, and I’m so deeply grateful.

Anna is one of the most vibrant souls you will ever encounter. Her light shines so bright that you can’t help but be drawn to it and the gift of its warmth. She and I first met nearly three years ago when I was seeking alternative ways to help me heal after surgery and a stage zero cancer episode-​working with her brought peace and balance to my mind and body and my doctors marveled at how quickly I healed. To be in Anna’s presence is to be honored and held with love, compassion, kindness, and playfulness. I believe there are no coincidences in this world, and meeting her was a powerful affirmation of that belief. Over the last three years, I have been not only a client, but also a student. I have stepped further into my own light, and have manifested my desire to help others heal. She is a masterful teacher and a gifted healer. I am deeply grateful to know her.

By some magnetic mysterious magical force I found Anna’s website while doing some research for a personal journey of mine and I don’t think I left one corner of her website unread!
I was drawn to the Sacred Stones and Reiki class and signed up almost immediately after Anna answered some questions that I had. I am new to Reiki and I am already deeply in love with the practice and healing that I have found within from it. Add Sacred Stones to this mix and I have entered new portals of possibility and healing guided by Anna and the 7 other women that I shared this class with. Anna’s warmth and playful loving energy welcomed me immediately and I learned not only beautiful knowledge in regards to Sacred Stones but also how to follow my intuition while working with them. Anna is an amazing teacher and guide!

I can’t begin to say how amazing my weekend long Reiki 1 class was! Anna and Jake are both caring, helpful, fun, and beautiful people. I went into the class with an open mind and what I’ve received in return has been life changing.

Reiki on!

I’m not a Unilocaler. By that I mean that I don’t write reviews, but I sure do read them. Yes, I’m a taker, not a giver. I don’t know why that is, possibly because I’m lazy. Well, since this is the season of giving back and making resolutions, I’m going to attempt to change my ways. Starting right here, right now, with Vibrant Reiki.
When looking for a Reiki practitioner in the Bay Area, the first website I came upon was Vibrant Reiki. I clicked. I was in awe. Have you looked at the website? No? Well, click on the link above and then come back and finish reading this.
Welcome back! Pretty spectacular, right? But, I wasn’t satisfied. I had to have Unilocalers confirm my impression that Anna was as fabulous as her website. And they did. So I took the plunge and made an appointment for a Reiki/​Shamanic session.
When I met Anna I felt like I was visiting a dear friend whom I hadn’t seen in a while. Her spirit is like that — warm, giving, compassionate. This was so important because I was there due to a recent painful experience. Anna provided a safe space for me to get out of my head and into my heart, to share, to cry, and even to laugh. In short, to begin healing.
Because of this experience, I decided that I needed to learn more about Reiki and Shamanism, so I attended her Shoden Reiki workshop and a monthly Shaman circle. Anna is one of those rare people who is not only brilliant at what she does but is an equally brilliant teacher. She has vast knowledge and happily shares it. It is so rewarding to learn from someone who truly loves her work. I enrolled in her upcoming Way of the Shaman course because I want to delve deeper into this work and can’t imagine a better guide.
So, in the spirit of the season give yourself a beautiful gift by signing up for a Reiki/​Shamanism session or a Reiki class or attend a monthly Shaman circle with Anna. You will be richer for the experience.

Anna with Vibrant Reiki/​Shamanism is the «Real Deal» no question about it. One can quickly see that Anna has done «the work» herself and exemplifies integrity, inner strength and compassion. It is evident that she is solidly committed to her students and is one hundred percent ON and present as she teaches. Every single detail however small was handled before, during and after class. She is a powerhouse! Anna is a world class teacher… I highly recommend her!

Long ago, the seed of Reiki was planted in my consciousness, via a dear friend at a festival. In the meantime, the dots started connecting, like the stars in a constellation. I knew the time had come, and I took the Shoden Reiki class. Anna’s powerful energy really brought the group together. We instantly felt like family, and many of us are already planning on going for level 2.
I really enjoyed how she integrated other principles into her teachings, such as shamanism, the chakras, and chi maintenance. Overall, it’s a life-​changing experience that I would recommend to anyone!

Give yourself a treat! Whether a class or a treatment. The reviews here say it all. There’s only one thing to add: the power of hope! Vibrant Reiki has given me powerful hope in this world — a great catalyst for the power/​joy/​hope you already have in you! If you need to be reminded that human beings really can be love, that the world holds good and better things for us, that deep inside us miracles can calmly, slowly subtly manifest, let this little reiki place encourage you. How wonderful to have physically put myself in this place of «business,» to have given myself the joyful and empowering experiences fashioned here for me. Anna Dorian creates a place of freedom, acceptance, healing, and doubts and fears seem to be disarmed by delight, humor, tenderness. It’s very much a liberating place. Having had such a tremendous experience with Reiki 1, I went back for Reiki 2. And it was definitely absolutely as great an experience as the first.
It’s not just that Anna is a great teacher, or that the space is totally lovely, or that Reiki is a beautiful practice, but that the people who come here for classes have a great energy too. There is such a level of acceptance that Anna creates.
Also, more wonderfulness to explore: monthly Reiki clinics; shamanic healing; monthly shamanic circles — so much trouble for a girl to get into!!!

This place is really special to me. I year ago I got my Reiki I certification with Anna and I chose Vibrant Reiki because it was the only place I could find in the Bay that gave me a fun, light-​hearted feeling about Reiki. So many people take it so seriously, as if energy and light work require you to be solemn and holy and whatever else you’ve seen in the movies when it comes to «alternative» healing. The last thing I wanted was for it to feel «gimmicky,» especially because I was new to the Reiki world. Anna is sweet and silly, but she also has her whole heart in it. She is authentic and has a lot of experience to bring to the table and teaches solid Reiki classes WELL worth the money. I say that because she is one of the best deals around for the quality she has to offer.
So when I realized it was time to take my Reiki II course, I knew Vibrant Reiki was the only place I wanted to go, and I’m SO happy I did. Again, it was a fun, joyful, and profound experience. She does such an amazing job with being able to relate to, encourage, and support each student no matter what their background or personality is — and there is always quite a variety!
Again, I think we need more fun and joy in the world of spirituality and intangibility. I am SO grateful to Anna for creating Vibrant Reiki!
