History
Established in 2008.
vbkirk flowers and events is the result of 18 years working with flowers and absolutely a dream come true.
Grateful to make a living working with my passion, I see vbkirk as a vehicle for the comprehensive understanding I’ve gained of floral art, wedding and event concepts, the creative design process, and the production of event décor.
vbkirk is conveniently located in San Francisco’s Hayes Valley neighborhood. The charming studio space overflows with irresistible color, organic inspiration, and creative energy.
The première Hayes Valley florist, vbkirk showcases select local artists, transforming the shop décor with each new art installation or scheduled vbkirk event. Fresh cut flower selections and orchid plants bring beauty and art to life, while various techniques in lighting, props, and staging are exhibited to generate an overall innovative environment and colorful ambiance.
Providing consistent quality, elegance and sophistication is vbkirk’s simple guarantee.
Meet the Business Owner
Elizabeth V.
Business Owner
The foundation for vbkirk was created in Los Angeles working for the in-house florist at the Four Seasons Hotel, Beverly Hills. The design training I received there was a classroom like no other– in a unique upscale environment. LA offered consistent opportunities including work with prestigious design studios creating beautiful and exciting couture floral installations and preparing lavish environments for elite customers and celebrity clientele. Exotic, but always challenging my experience with work on international destination events expanded and deepened my style and design perspective.
In 2005, I jumped at the very appealing and more artistically challenging chance to work in San Francisco. Several years on staff with Ixia in the Castro, as well as freelancing with numerous SF design studios has culminated in great relationships and connections that allow me to feel confident that vbkirk flowers and events provides a unique design perspective and quality upscale resources.
