Specialties
Varsity Technologies is a strategic IT consulting firm that is committed to developing innovative IT services and solutions that enable our clients to achieve their goals. We design sustainable IT solutions for education and non-profits in the Bay Area.
History
Established in 1999.
Varsity Technologies was created with one goal in mind: to design technology solutions for schools to help them better serve students. Over ten years later, the passion behind this simple idea is still at the heart of everything we do with our clients.
From 1994 to 1997, Varsity’s founder and CEO, Patrick Ciccarelli, served as a computer resource teacher in the San Francisco Unified School District. In 1997 Patrick started up and ran one of the world’s first Cisco Networking Academy locations, a program that prepared students for a career in the IT industry. In 1999, Patrick moved on to create an IT consulting company committed to serving the education market: Varsity Technologies.
Today, Varsity is a dynamic, creative organization, comprised of professionals who are focused on the mission of providing IT and consulting services that have a social and environmental impact. Clients include schools, non-profits, small businesses, and other service organizations.
