These guys are the best. They’re all so kind and caring. Felt a lump on my cat and took her here. The exam is free then the give you an estimate. They don’t try and pressure you nor are they predatory. Will recommend them to everyone I know! Thank you Dr. Garg and his very friendly staff.

5+ stars for Dr. Garg & his team! My pug needed to have several teeth removed, and I was nervous about putting him under anesthesia b/​c of his breed. The equipment at Urban Pet Hospital is top-​of-​the-​line, and Dr. Garg took the time to go through all of the test results and explain the procedure without getting frustrated or impatient with my 100 questions. They kept me in the loop through the procedure, and I could tell that they really cared about his well-​being! My pug is doing great, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome.
It’s very convenient that they stay open until 10 PM, and the staff was more than accommodating to my schedule. I recommend Dr. Garg & his pet loving staff to anyone looking for a vet in the area. There is also a «loading zone» spot outside of the office that is available for use, which was also really convenient :)

I recently got a puppy and chose Urban pet hospital mainly because their hours fit my schedule. However, now and am a client. I cannot say enough good things about this hospital. Dr. Garg is very patient and you can tell he really loves animals. He’s genuinely concerned about the well being of my puppy. He even gave me his cell phone number if I had any problems over the 2 days he was not working. The entire front desk staff is also very helpful, friendly and accommodating. I have been calling with many requests and they are always friendly, I highly recommend!

I took my small cavalier mix to Dr. Garg at UPH due to irritation and swelling in her foot which I thought was due to a tick burrowed in deep but turned out to be a fox tail. A very nice assistant, Mike, checked us in and answered all my questions. The office didn’t smell at all and we were able to stay with our pup until they took her in back to check the wound.
Very reasonably priced for the procedure, open late 10pm and awesome caring and attentive staff. Couldn’t ask for more!

Took my cat Wally here the other day when he wouldn’t stop throwing up. The staff was very attentive and understanding. In addition, they did blood tests and an X-​ray, the doctor explained everything to me and what the results meant. I was very impressed and will return for future visits!

I went to this vet for the first time a week ago, and definitely would recommend it to anyone in the area. My 11 year old basset hound had stopped eating as much for a couple of days acting exhausted all the time and I was getting pretty worried. After hearing about this clinic from a friend who lives in SF and having trouble with my current vet, I decided to try them out. Very good decision as I felt welcome here, was helped virtually right away, and Dr. Garg was super helpful with what I should try first, and to come back to get appetite stimulants if necessary. They showed they cared more about my pet than they did about what they could charge me.

I took my 4 year old Golden Retriever (Goldy) to this hospital today. He was throwing up a lot since last night.
I have to say the staff was eager to help and attentive towards Goldy.
The doctor on staff explained everything very patiently, answered all questions and offered to advice after hours as well if Goldy was not feeling better by end of day. I felt much better getting out the place because I was very concerned.
Highly recommend this place.
