Did not enjoy lunch here today and can not recommend this place. Avocado jack cheese tomato sandwich, Came with brown avocado, shredded cabbage, The tomatoes look like they had been frozen and some wierd spread– threw it away. Chicken noodle soup under cooked noodles in both that looked like they thickened it with cornstarch and three in puréed chicken very few vegetables. The deal breaker was they put so much Thyme in it, yuck. It tasted like they had put in ground up juniper bushes.

Nice place to eat if you have an appointment at the hospital. Not your regular cafeteria. Here’s what they had: *Pizza station with different types of pizzas. Really big slices for $ 3.50 *Made to order sushi station *Comfort food station that was serving prime rib, mashed potatoes and zucchini *Made to order burritos *Salad/soup/bagel bar *Burger grill *Do it yourself waffle station Plus all kinds of premade wraps and salads. There are plenty of vegan and healthy options here. They had grilled tofu, quinoa, couscous, veggie wraps and a great salad bar that included kale and beets — those are veggies I don’t see too often. I got the 3 bean chili with a whole wheat dinner roll and it was really good. It was thick and chunky and meat-free. On Fridays they have a pasta station that includes a ramen bar. We were here on a Tuesday so I was out of luck. Just an FYI for people like my hubby that love soda: there are no «sugar» sodas here. All they have is Coke Zero or diet types of sodas. Lots of smoothies and juices but no regular sodas. Hubby was not happy about that! Also, they do take credit cards:)

Not gourmet food, but a decent option for the area. Prices are very reasonable(subsidized by the hospital, I’d guess). I appreciate that they have some unhealthy options despite being a hospital.
