The Treasure Island Sailing Center is a non-​profit organization whose purpose is to improve our community and the sport of sailing by providing access, facilities, and sailing instruction to people of all socioeconomic backgrounds, skill levels, and physical abilities.

TISC offers affordable sailing classes for youth and adults, as well as Kayak and SUP rentals. There are volunteer opportunities, venue rentals, and dry storage rental space. TISC provides full scholarships to all youth with a household income of less than $ 40,000. Students with a household income of $ 70,000 or less come for 50% off.

History

Established in 1999.

TISC is a non-​profit year round sailing community on the San Francisco Bay with no membership requirements and emphasizes full community involvement. Since 1999, TISC has engaged over 11,000 participants in the joy of sailing and provided over 80% of our students with full scholarships over the years. TISC never turns a child away in need.
