Treasure Island Flea

I love going to the flea market. The vendors and staff there are friendly and the shirts for 5 dollars are a major score. You can just take your time and shop around .Go out and have some fun. You get to meet people and make friends. I love the place.

Not your typical flea market. If you like out of the ordinary things and antiques then this place is for you. People who sell here make original things like purses and furniture and jewelry. Beautiful pieces too. Not my style so I wasn’t a fan because I couldn’t find anything that I actually needed, all junk. Also the food truck they have here are WAY over priced for the quality. Measures up to cafeteria food and costs as much as dining out at a 4 star restaurant. Not to mention the food truck area had like 4 tables to eat at and everyone else standing eating. Won’t come back here. I’m disappointed.

A great place to stop by on the weekend! I love coming here whenever it’s open. Admission is only $ 3 and there’s free parking!
Lots of vendors with cool things to sell from clothes to antiques to snacks to plants. You can spend all day just looking at every tent to see what everyone has to offer. Many things are pricey, but hey it’s still San Francisco.
When you get hungry after walking around, you can grab lunch from a variety of food trucks. The trucks change every time, but there’s a flavor for everyone. If you’re over 21, you can also enjoy a cocktail too!
Definitely a fun place to check out, even if you don’t buy anything. I try to stop by every month to see the cool things, eat delicious food, and get a great view of the city!

I absolutely love this flea market. It is the perfect excuse to get out and enjoy the weather in such a beautiful location. This flea market is really one-​of-​a-​kind because:
1.) Free parking. Duh. This is awesome and seriously appreciated considering everywhere in San Francisco and other surrounding neighborhoods charge a buttload for parking because they can.
2.) Cocktails. Another duh. There’s literally a bar at the entrance– I mean, c’mon this is a no brainer for me because sometimes I require a good stiff cocktail in order to function… But really, I adore that they offer Bloody Mary’s, Beer, Wine and other specialty cocktails.
3.) It’s a DEAL. Yo, admission is 3 bucks. That’s it! BUT, if you go on livingsocial each month you can purchase a ticket that includes admission and a wine or beer cocktail for $ 11 bucks. And this is for TWO people. Yes! $ 11 bucks for two admissions and two drinks. Me likey.
4.) Food trucks. Need I say more?
This is a perfect spot to spend the afternoon and you won’t regret coming. Not only do the offer all of the above but. All of the little shops at the flea market are so unique and there’s really something for everyone! Plus, stop by the wineries on the other side of the island before you leave!

If you’re going to do a flea market– this is how you do it!
It’s well organized with rows and vendor stalls. And many of the vendors were offering new or handcrafted type creations, in addition to the regular assortment of used and antique odds and ends. It definitely has a creative, artsy vibe everywhere. Most vendors are artists and have taken time to curate their offering so it’s not just a random selection of stuff that you might find elsewhere. Even those rusty wheels and bikes seem to be making a statement and have a place in someone’s garden.
I love that there’s a bar right when you walk in – fun craft cocktails that pack a punch (ok, pun intended) and if you somehow miss the bar, there is a mobile cart that offers libations as well.
I wish I lived closer to SF– otherwise I’d be here every month!

Very very over-​priced.
This flea market caters to the wealthy techies who swarm the area. Haha. I’m joking but not joking at the same time.
Many of the furniture has not been refurbished well and is being sold at crazy prices. There are no food areas and the lines to the trucks are crazy long!
The buses that run here are continuously over-​crowded and skip stops. If is a safer bet to drive over but then again, parking is a hot-​mess so it’s a loose loose situation overall.
It’s full of tourists and maybe just maybe you will find something decent.
Good luck locals! I know we can’t afford anything here.

This is not what I was expecting at all. This is a high-​end flea market with tons of beautiful products. It is nice to see passionate people producing what they love. Wonderful place to be creatively inspired and feed off the artistic energy that surrounds the entire market.
There is a line up of food trucks and a mini bar where cocktails can be made. An entirely too small picnic table area to enjoy the food truck findings. and you are even entertained by live shows while eating. We were serenaded by a high school band. They were fantastic!
There are a lot of porta-​potties around and they are as clean as one can expect which was refreshing.
It being the holiday season when I went there were 2 reindeer wandering aimlessly confined in a super small gated area. It was almost sad to see them pinned in such tight quarters since they were there for human entertainment.
In the far back corner there was a garage sale style flea market section too.
The only thing missing from this market was a fresh fruits and veggies (farmers) market section!
I bought these tickets on a groupon and I don’t believe it was worth the price I paid on groupon it is best to just pay at the entrance, skipping the groupon. I believe I highly overpaid. Their website isn’t much help for what to expect either… I can check this off my bay area to-​do list but unless there is a special event of some sort, I will not be back. nor recommending this to anyone.

Lay your eyes on things you’ve never seen before.
Sweep up the creative energy that’s in the air.
Drink beer, drink wine, drink mimosas, drink sangria, drink cocktails; there is literally a bar right as you enter. They know how to help you loosen up your purse strings.
Get some lunch from one of the numerous food trucks; picnic on the grass or sit on the rocks along the water for a view of the City, the Golden Gate, and the Bay bridge while you nom.
Makes for a fine day in in the Bay.

Treasure Island Flea Market has a variety of interesting vendors to choose from. This is the place to go for costume jewelry, retro knick-​knacks or up-​cycled home décor. Señor Sig Sig, Sam’s Chowder Truck and Curry-​Up Now are among a long list of food trucks to choose from. There’s a bar in the center of the eating area where you can order a $ 8 cocktail to wash down that you delicious asian pulled pork slider from Adam’s Grub Truck. If you want coffee and you love a good stout, I highly recommend Black Medicine’s pressured brewed coffee.

I’m used to a flea market being a place where a majority of vendors are mainly people who are either cleaning out storage units or people getting rid of old junk, with some vendors selling products as if they were a store (packaged/​new items). The TI flea market was not this. Most vendors are local Bay Area crafters, artists, or small businesses, but there are still various garage sale-​like vendors there too.
There are plenty of food options as well, ranging from delicious cheeses to nitro coffee to tons of food trucks. There’s a nice picnic/​eating area next to the food trucks to relax and munch. Definitely had a good time trying out Señor Sisig.
Overall, a great place to chill and walk around. For $ 3, you’re easily getting your money’s worth. If you’re bored, Treasure Island is a cool place to explore as well. Nice views of SF and the East Bay. Fun fact, if you find a parking lot with a bunch of drift marks, that’s featured in Kendrick Lamar’s music video of Alright.

The Treasure Island flea markets are held on the last weekend of the month and provide a nice escape from the mainland. There is a big range of vendors and stalls ranging from the old, new and odd:
— People selling old/​upcycled furniture, toys, magazines, etc.
— Food stalls with gourmet and niche creations of coffee, fudge, cakes, honey, snacks for your pets and more
— Clothing stalls with local designers, used bargain bins and the all-​denim stall
— A big lineup of food trucks to cater to everyone’s tastes (hardly any seating though which is a bit awkward when it gets busy)
— Plus a bunch of activities (like sumo inflatable ball wrestling, local bands, hula hooping, etc)
— Also a great view back to SF
Some things are a bargain and other things are priced way too high (not sure how some plastic chairs could go for $ 120 a piece, they aren’t even that retro :/​). But that is to be expected and maybe haggling can score that retro melted record fruit bowl for a bargain.
Overall it has enough stalls, activities and food options to be worth the time and $ 3.

Nice selection of random stuff. These are dealers, so there’s no great bargains here, but it’s not overpriced either. There’s a mix of antiques and artisan stuff, and of course the array of food trucks. Not so many vegan options in the food trucks, and I ended up with a mediocre burritto.
Definitely worth your time to come here at least once — hell, there’s little else worth doing on Treasure Island.

Love this flea market! They often have groupons for this event on Living Social which is also where I got my tickets. They have 2 tickets plus two drinks for $ 11 or $ 22 for 4 tickets and 4 drinks! If you like to get out of the city but completely in across the bay, this is a good middle ground. Treasure Island has a beautiful view, good food supplied by our local food trucks and a lot of unique treasures to choose from.
I usually bring cash to every flea market but they also have an ATM! Most of the jewelry is reasonably priced from $ 10-​$ 60 for the booths I stopped by. They have a lot of succulents all uniquely planted. Parking is free and right next to the entrance to the market. They have live music and it’s even dog friendly! :) will be back soon.

Catching buses to this venue worked but you really have to know which ones as it is a Sunday. We spent a few hours today wandering up and down the aisles browsing. It was entertaining. There is a bit of variety but very little in the way of cottage craft eg knitting, crochet etc Plenty of trash as well as treasure.
There are quite a few food vans on site. We tried the pheasant sausage and bison sausage from The Missing Link. Nice, but it was really just a sausage on a bun for $ 9. Perhaps it is because we are unaware of the intricacies involved in the responsible service of alcohol but I was refused service as I did not have a photo ID. I am definitely well over the age of 21 and look every year in excess.
There were two stands where we cheerfully parted with our money; The Cowboy Toffee Company and Denise Ward Jewellery.

The Treasure Island Flea is always a joy! Vendors range from unique artisans, vintage collectibles, independent tea makers, and basically everything you could think of in between.
The location is absolutely darling, parking is a breeze, and the lively atmosphere is very much enjoyable.
I wouldn’t come expecting to find exactly what you’re looking for at the perfect price. Some things are a steal, and some things will be out of your budget. It’s good to keep an open mind and just enjoy the day! Only here will you be able to discover eclectic treasures like honey dipped apples (slices of heaven really), wonderfully cheap collectibles, historic memorabilia, and elderly women with electric pink hair.
I continually have a blast meeting new people, experimenting with unique meals from the food trucks, and enjoying the breathtaking views from the island. You really can’t go wrong here!

I have frequented Treasure Island Flea a few times in the past and feel that I should write a review before I totally forget.
This flea market to me is special as it also includes Bay Area food trucks as well. The times I have gone in the past included Koja Kitchen, Chairman and An the Go. My faves! How lucky is that!!! Killing two birds with one stone. Getting my food mojo on as well as shopping! I have seen other vendors there serving coffee and donuts! I think I’m craving Donuts! Darn, retiring made me miss my freebie donut every third weekend!!!
Treasure Island Flea market includes not only garage sale like items but crafters from the Bay area. I even ran across the gal from Berkeley area who not only crafts pottery but gorgeous earrings and necklace. I have been so fortunate one day to run into her by chance as I have normally only seen her at crafts faire in Suisun City. I spent prolly several hundreds of dollars that day and I think she was pretty appreciative. I was really happy although my hubby wasn’t!!!
I have seen other crafters who have entice me with their homemade knitted sweaters, scarves or other items that I just couldn’t pass up!
Yes, one shouldn’t pass up this flea market; it’s really a conglomeration of shopping of unique items. Things you can’t imagine until you stop and shop here. After leaving the area, you can get a breathtaking view of San Francisco. I had the good fortune of seeing that which was quite a show. I wished I had taken pics but it’s better if you go and see it for yourself!!! Experience it! It’s truly worth it!!!

When you hear of a flea market, your first though is ‘cheap goods!’ Not at the SF flea market though. This market has some cheap stuff but for the most part, some of the things are more expensive than going to crate and barrel. I understand that it’s hand craftsmanship and people putting a lot of time and effort in making some of these goods, but $ 500 for a chest is a bit expensive.
If the weather is nice though, you get a beautiful SF skyline to enjoy.

Four vendors. I visited many, many more, but there were four vendors where I fully intended to loosen my greenbacks and buy their wares.
First vendor. Another «customer» took so much time (and didn’t buy anything) that the vendor paid me no mind. Eye contact. Nothing. A friendly wave with a smile and I point at an interesting necklace, priced to move that I wanted around my neck. No response. I think it’s an anomaly. It is not.
Second vendor selling cool-​looking pendants on the back of scrabble pieces. Vendor scrolls through his cell phone, looks at me straight in the face, I smile, and he walks away. WTF!!!
Third vendor. Fails to look up from tablet. I’m the only one standing at her kiosk, and she sits less than two feet away. I say my friendly «hello» and still she does not move.
Fourth and last vendor. Little funky frames. I begin to say something and he glares at me. Glares!
The only vendor where I buy something? Selling some killer banana bread. Cordial, engaging — in short — she can give everyone lessons.
Therefore, my opinion is that the hipster pretentiousness prevents vendors from resembling human beings with a pulse. Avoid like ebola.
The only reason two stars instead of one? Lovely weather, yummy banana bread and lovely company (my honey).

Half our lives are spent accumulating stuff and the other half are obsessed with getting rid of said stuff. I’m now on the back nine of that saying with a garage piled high with crap I can’t wait to jettison. Still though, the allure of shopping pulls at me and Treasure Island Flea seems like the perfect place for someone in such a position. It has just enough other stuff going on that whether or not one is into «shopping to buy» one can make a mighty enjoyable day of it out here.
First, there is that view. With the new normal for weather around these parts, experiencing the views from TI is reason enough to go. For so long this area was not accessible to civilians; on a beautiful weekend day come here to take advantage of the breathtaking views of both bridges, the City skyline, and the jewel-​box bay.
Did someone say dogs? Reason number two. Dogs are not only allowed at TI Flea but so ubiquitous that I began thinking they were mandatory.
Alcohol, snap. Over by the food trucks there’s an alcohol booth serving beer, wine, and cocktails. Even better is to hail down the little roving bar wagon as you walk the aisles. Yes, you heard right, a roving bar wagon on four little wheels.
There’s a boatload of food trucks, all with ridiculously long lines on my visit but who cares? The day was gorgeous, what’s the hurry?
TI Flea is not anywhere as large as the monthly Alameda Point Antiques Faire but has more than enough vendors to enchant anyone who’s just browsing. A plethora of vendors seem to be trading in soy candles, succulents, and jewelry but there’s a wide variety of interesting things in other categories as well.
* Some food (e.g. ice cream) is available amongst the vendors; a good alternative to waiting in long food truck lines.
* Currently being held outside; I’ve heard that it’s not as fun when indoors as the setting is easily half the experience.
* Free parking
* $ 3 entry fee (free for those 12 and under)
* Monthly, on the last weekend of the month.

How fun is this! Never even knew about the event until I bought a Groupon for wine tasting this weekend! Which was walking distance from the flea market. From 11 am to 4pm Saturday or Sunday.
I arrived around noon and parking was not the best but I was able to find something. I noticed the flea market right away as I was driving to a park. As we walk to the gate we noticed that the entry to the flea market was $ 3 to get in. It wasn’t bad but I wouldn’t say it was well worth it. A lot of the vendors were very expensive and most of the things that they were selling it for house goods. A lot different than what I expected. I was able to find some vendors that were cheap.
I was able to buy socks which is not a bad deal! There was a vendor that was selling a lot of plants! I was able to buy aloe vera plant for $ 4. Let’s just hope it doesn’t die on me :-)
The wine tasting was in a different building and just walks away from the flea market. That was where I spent most of my money lol it was a very nice woman that was selling different types of fudge with many different flavors she was amazing! I also found some hot sauces that were actually not hot! Another vendor was selling olive oil which I bought four different types of olive oil for $ 32! Not a bad deal and I was able to try some candy caramel becan flavor! doing this as I was wine tasting! :-) I can’t beat that deal.
I would definitely recommend coming but I recommend bringing cash although many of the vendors were hip to the game and had it where you can use your credit card as well.
