Transworld Schools offers ESL (English Language) courses and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certification courses. We are approved by the State and California (BPPE), accredited by ACCE, and we meet the highest industry standards.

Our TESOL courses are internationally recognized, earn Continuing Education Credits, and include on-​site Teaching Practicum, and classes in grammar, language skills, and teaching methodology. We assist all of our TESOL graduates with job placement and work with over 10,000 employers throughout the USA and worldwide. Courses are full-​time, part-​time or online, and are challenging and fun.

We offer ESL at 15 levels from Beginner to Advanced; also Business English and TOEFL Preparation courses. Students may choose Electives in speaking, pronunciation, idioms, writing, vocabulary, business, and TOEFL. We provide accommodation and after class activities.

History

Established in 1997.

Transworld began in 1997 as a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) Certification school. The majority of our graduates were training to teach overseas in Japan, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Italy, Spain and Peru. Since then, we have expanded worldwide and currently place teachers in over 80 countries. We grew in 2004 to double our space and add ESL (English as a Second Language) courses.

Transworld today is an international community serving language and training courses to over 3000 students per year. Our population is diverse and includes teachers, artists, scientists, engineers, students and tourists.

Transworld is proud to be both approved by the State of California Bureau of Private Postsecondary where we are fully compliant with all state regulations, and accredited by ACCET where we meet all of the Standards of Excellence. Transworld is authorized by the Federal Government to issue the Form I-​20 for the F-​1 Student Visa.
