I had an excellent experience with Tony — he recommended a good stereo, then came to my house to install it for a fair price. He is also very knowledgeable and easy to deal with. I would recommend him very highly.

I had the best experience with Tony over the phone. I called him today to make an appt to see him. I told him that my radio just went off and wouldn’t power back on. I was ready to take my car in to him asap. I was wiling to pay whatever was needed to fix my deck. I was so shocked when he started helping me on the phone, he was telling me so many things I could do before going in and spending the money. Tony told me to do 3 things before going in to see him! The first thing he told me to do WORKED!!! I was so astonished that the first thing he told me to do over the phone fixed my problem! I really appreciate him so much for taking his precious time and his willingness to help me. I will never ever look at another Audio Shop again but his. THANK YOU TONY!!!

Tony, truly tried to help me fix the issue I was having over the phone but even after his expert guidance I failed. We set an appointment, Tony showed up on time and had the problem fixed in fifteen minutes! I would highly recommend Tony for mobile electronics repair and will definitely use him for our next challenge!

Tony (the owner) really knows his stuff and u could tell he’s very service oriented. All I had to do was explain what I wanted (Bluetooth), and he installed a cool system at a reasonable price. He also showed me cost comparisons of his price versus other competitors online. I was definitely getting more for my $.
Tony even noticed a wire sticking out from a previous install, and took the time to hide it for me. What a perfectionist. And what I appreciated most was that he did all the work in front of my work which was super convenient. He’s «mobile» — his business card reads «we come to you!» (Thank you!)
If I ever need another upgrade to my car (s), I’ll definitely look to him first.

I had Tony’s Mobile install a new car stereo with MP3 player take in a «93 GM». Their service was extremely convenient, with them coming right to the house. Both guys were very polite. I would certainly recommend they for any job. The price seemed to be right in line. Thanks.

Tony installed a secondary cigarette lighter outlet in the glove box of my Mercedes so that I could streamline my bluetooth/​charging setup. We ran into a few hiccups with the install, but Tony ensured that the end result was done perfectly — going out of his way multiple times. He’s a pro and did a great job. Thanks!

Promised to meet me twice, no call no nothing both times. Looks like this guy either hits home runs or fails big. Hope you’re lucky, or better yet, call someone else.

Called this guy up after finding him on Unilocal and he was incredibly helpful and informative. Haven’t set up an appointment yet, but I definitely will in the near future.

Had Tony install a bluetooth device for my BMW 325CI. He was a pleasure to work with and went out of his way to find the lowest price on a USB adapter that did not come with my unit. Would definitely use him again when I need some audio work on my car. He travels out to visit you as well which is very convenient for busy workers like myself.

I was having an issue with my car stereo and looking for a place to check it out. I spoke to a few places that were gonna charge 70 bucks just to look at it.
After speaking with Tony for about 10 minutes on the phone, he suggested I try a few things first before I came all the way down to the shop. After following a few simple instructions, my car stereo was working again. Its rare to find honest advice these days. Customer service like Tony’s is one in a million, and he easily could have told me there was no way to know what was wrong without looking at it as the other shops did, and charged me 60 bucks just to take the dash apart, then do something that i could have done my self.
Should I have any more stereo issues, i now know who my first call will be.

In a world where everyone is out to make a quick buck and it’s all about me and what about me he really went above the norm. My 2008 navigation CD player wasn’t working after it was replaced in 2010. Tony told me to contact the Toyota Regional to see what they would do for me. I did and they ordered the parts and I’m only paying for the Labor. Tony called me back 2 weeks later to see what was going on. I’m in Sales and I was simply Amazed that he cared and wanted to see if my issue was resolved. I can’t say enough nice things about you!

Tony is a true paesano which means he’s a good guy. We talked on the phone and he dropped by my place to check out my BMW and see what made sense for me. He came up with some great options for getting my ipod connected to the BMW system. I ended up with my Dice controller installed and it sounds great. Tony also knew about a new controller from Grom audio which may be a good option for you. If I didn’t already have the Dice, I would have upgraded to that unit which has bluetooth. Tony and his helper drove to my office in Foster City and replaced my factory radio with an aftermarket on I had purchased earlier. They were on-​time, quick, polite and clean — all the best traits one could want in an installer. I found the rates perfectly reasonable, especially since I did not have to wait in an auto repair lobby while the work was done.

He and his younger assistant came out very quickly to install a standard car alarm on my Corolla in the Haight. Total time. 2hrs. Total cost. $ 307. I am not even sure if the alarm will deter the kind of crazed homeless break-​ins that happen in the area, but hey, it only has to work once and its cheaper than replacing a $ 350 window if it does.
I was cognizant of an earlier review by an unhappy female earlier who felt she’d been ‘hit on’ pretty heavily. I wouldn’t say Tony has bad boundaries, but he is from an earlier ‘hail fellow well met’ era we don’t see that often in the cool City. It may very well be that he did come on to her, but I had no complaints about his gregarious style.
Don’t forget that one of the objects of negative reviews is to scare service providers into cleaning up their acts. I would assume Tony saw or has heard about that review and would adjust his behavior accordingly. I sure as heck would.
I certainly found the convenience, short waiting time, and (presumably) low price well worth it. The workmanship seems fine, although I have nothing to compare it to. Would highly recommend for alarm service.

So, this is my 2^nd modded Scion Xb. I unfortunately totaled the first one. She was a beauty inside — 10 inch sub, amp, LED screen headrest, Pioneer in dash system with DVD navigation.
This time around, I did away with the hardly ever used headrest monitors or the in-​dash navigation. Seeing it that my smartphone’s GPS was better than most in-​dash GPS systems, and really who watches video on headrests anymore? Especially, when you have laptops or iPads for that.
So my vision for the 2^nd Scion was to invest in a much better sound system. This is where Tony and his assistant, Moses came in. Tony knows his stuff, heck he’s been at it for quite awhile, and is abreast of all the latest and greatest.
Here’s what I got:
Pioneer in dash unit with Bluetooth, Pioneer Amp, Pioneer 10 inch sub, with a custom box enclosure that goes directly under the passenger seat, so no trunk space lost. And for how small my car is, I needed to preserve what little truck space I had.
Tony built a custom box, wiring, install, and afterwards walked me through all the adjustments. This system kicks ass!
I should also add that Tony even bought me donuts on the morning of the install. Big pluses about Tony’s service compared to others:

not a tweeker kid (who did the last install on my previous car)

I think Tony is just great. He knows his stuff inside out– honest, reliable and professional. He handles all my auto audio needs and I will continue to use him and recommend him unconditionally.

Tony was great. I wanted to install an iPod adapter in my ’98 Civic so I looked on Unilocal and found Tony. I sent an email and within an hour or so I had a response and we were able to coordinate a time right then and there.
Tony even called a couple days before the installation to give me some other options that actually saved me money. I really appreciated that.
He showed up at my house, right on time, dismantled my dashboard while I worked inside. He had the thing up and running in no time.
Everything has been working just fine.
For an added bonus, ask him about his days in Miami… ;-)

Tony was called to help me fix my car radio… said he had a friend who would build me a board to go in between my factory car radio and the after market amps (now I know they make these en masse by actual reputable companies) said he’d get a hold of me middle of the week so we can install it. (yeah I said WE as in me and him… why would I pay someone if I had to do the work myself)
well after calling Tony 3x during the week to see what the status was I still have no install, no sound in my car and no Tony calling me back
this guys full of shit. Taking my business to someone who actually wants business.

I have to say I am updating my review as I am so pissed at the rubbish that the one bad review has in it, total crap and ignore it.
Firstly, Tony is absolutely flirtatious and friendly, he is with everyone in that Italian way and yes he loves the ladies HE IS ITALIAN! He alos was very kind to drop me a great bottle of wine at the holidays.
Since my first review below he has added a couple of things, namely an amazing alarm. Again he warned me after two stereo installations to get one I ignored and of course got broken into three times.
Tony price also ended up being a touch higher, why, once he removed the old stereo you got to see the butchering job that Circuit City did, not his fault, that’s what happens with this work if you know anything.
After the stereo installation the stereo stopped working. Tony came down and spent one hour checking and removing. It took over one hour when it should have taken 10 mins. The people that installed the second battery did not tighten the two terminals out of view and only when running did Tony find that there was not enough power. The battery was in month 23 of 24 month warranty, he saved me $ 300 on a new battery.
Please don’t believe a word of the bad review. If you have any experience working with people over 30 years I have never dealt or met with anyone even closely as fantastic.

He was easy to get hold of and very easy on the phone, no pressure or usual rubbish. I really despise going into Best Buy, always feel like you will be told anything.
Tony wanted to meet and discuss my project, I didn’t really take that too seriously, not like I wanted to spend $ 5K.
I have to say this is one of the best experiences I have ever had. He takes his business very seriously and is incredibly passionate about it as well to the smallest detail.
He knows the business back to front, has fantastic ideas and frankly cannot fault him on anything. Exceeded expectations four fold. Very easy to work with especially if you are busy, truly an artist at what he does, first class.
I wish I had gone to him earlier. He seems to have picked up another 3 — 4 clients around my office after seeing his magic, incredible.
How nice to randomly run into someone with such care, passion and commitment in their business, would have given him six stars.

I had a problem with the system and to say Tony followed up would be an understatement. There just aren’t guys like this anymore, don’t get better.
If you read the reviews in this guy and then use him you find out the reviews are completely understated. Now people in my office are going to him and think the same.

In short: a sleazy experience with a bait and switch twist, lascivious professional boundaries that females should heed warning of all beginning an hour after our scheduled appointment time.
I called Tony based on his Unilocal reviews and feel like I dealt with Mr. Hyde instead of the respected Dr. Jekyll.
I met Tony on a Friday after speaking with him on the phone. He sounded excessively casually and flirtatious. I chose to go to someone else because I’m just not a fan of weird interactions– what can I say. I went to someone else and they clearly didn’t know what they were talking about («You can’t run four speakers plus a sub on a five channel amp» — hmmm).
When I met Tony in person his theme continued and I worked like a mule to hold simple, professional boundaries. He identified the problem and quoted me $ 80 for a replacement of the blown part in my sub and said he could do it on Monday. In leaving the man offered me a beer…
I was sick but my plan was to get the deal and go. We had an appointment on Monday for 1:30 and I finally saw him by 2:30. He produced the part and began the replacement. When I confirmed the price, assuming he might reduce it because he was AN HOUR LATE, I learned his price had gone up to $ 99. Of course I said, «Tony, you quoted me $ 80 and you’re an hour late and now you want to charge me $ 20 more?» He stammered and claimed that he had said $ 100… then it was that the part cost more… then it was that he looked at the $ 80 part and had said to himself, «No, she’ll want the better one.»
Fully aware that I just got shanked, feeling achy and feverish, with a man I dressed in baggy clothes to meet, with resigned acceptance I said, «fine.» What was said to be a ten-​minute job took an hour.
There are a lot of talented and competent auto-​sound techs out there. What makes a professional, a businessman, is if he can keep his word and boundaries in good order. This guy may be good at what he does but I haven’t had such a shi*&y experience doing business with someone in a very long time.
