History

Established in 1974.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Cucalon practices orthodontics with the highest integrity and with an honest and personal touch. Together, the Cucalons have over 65 years of combined orthodontic experience.

Dr. Cucalon has expertise in: correcting overbites, overjets, and underbites; eliminating crowding; closing spaces; correcting jaw discrepancies; and expanding upper and lower jaws (thereby eliminating permanent tooth extractions).

A graduate of the University of the Pacific and Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Cucalon is among a small percentage of orthodontists board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. In 1996, Dr. Cucalon was awarded the prestigious lifetime Diplomate status.

In 2010, Dr. Cucalon became President of the California Association of Orthodontists (CAO) which is comprised of approximately 1,400 California member orthodontists, making up about 90% of all practicing orthodontists in the state of California.
