Love T.J.Maxx in San Rafael, especially for the undergarments.
Had a lovely experience with the Checkout Person «MATT «
Every Store should have a Matt, that makes Customers welcome and appreciated.
At the end of paying for my purchase I had to ask for his name, since he deserves
5 stars and many more for great Costumer Service. Matt, keep it up and a big thank you.

Cheap crap + parking. There’s nothing better than that. A big old 5 stars in my book for not being snooty, yet letting me be thrifty and then walk out and still look snooty. It is San Francisco you know.

Best TJ Maxx yet — always organized, many awesome finds over the years (think Pottery Barn and Anthropologie without the high prices and attitude). Such a shame that the store is closing for good next weekend. Oh well, I guess it wasn’t pretentious enough for the gentrifying SoMa.

Okay selection not really anything special. Ross is even a better option but Michael was pretty hellful

This place is clean, easy to get to, and has FREE PARKING!!!
They always have a nic or a knack you can find that you don’t need until you touch it. Then the spell they have blowing they the venting system makes you drop it in your cart!

Easy to get to. Very close to the freeway and they have their own parking lot. Never packed with shoppers unlike the one in Daly city. That means they have more available choices of products to choose from.

I found this particular TJ Maxx a little lackluster. There weren’t even any dresses — apart from maxi ones!!! Nice selection of shoes and non-​clothing items though.

Just walked out of this store. I stop by not very often (mostly for home goods) and for sure I do not buy here any food items. Thanx God, the first item (caramelized apples) I checked for expiration day while waiting for my turn (just because it was by cashier for a quick sell) was EXPIRED! 1 day wouldn’t mean much maybe, but I’m pretty sure if I come here tomorrow, I’ll see this very same item. I did tell it to a young lady cashier, hopefully, it’ll be noted by manager.

Overcrowded mesh of HomeGoods and TJ Maxx. No workers to help around and the place is a mess. Please clean and re-​organize

This is a great little TJ MAXX. It is clean and has a lot of merchandise. On the day that I went everything I purchased was on clearance and was need. So score. It is off the path a little bit of the shopping megaplexs on Market St but I am okay with that.
This has everything you would need for you house. Will defiantly go back if I am in need of anything in San Francisco.

This TJ Maxx location is a bit off the beaten path for tourists who stick on Market St.
Whereas Ross and Marshall’s is always desecrated and depleted of stock, you will be able to find some great things here at TJ Maxx. I came for bedding and kitchen supplies which were in abundance. Bless em’ for that.

This place is awesome! I come here to buy my yoga pants, hipster pants and leggings, and whatever else my little heart desires. I even found a bikram towel here for $ 12! They have fleece lined boot socks, cozy Express sweaters, mock jeggings, and delicious scented candles. Even their clearance is boss!
Plus they are way cleaner and less grimetastic than Ross. Thank you TJ Maxx for allowing me to both broke AND relatively stylish!

I absolutely adore TJ Maxx, and with good reason. Where else can you find a smattering of designer and high end home goods, salon haircare, boutique purses, and clothing in one store, all for awesome prices?
This is a good TJ as far as TJ’s go. I loved the selection. The store is big, bright, and clean. Has a restroom. I’ve been here three times in 2 months… I am obsessed!

Nice clean store, well organized. Clean area around the store too.
Nice store workers, nice cashier.
Would be nice to see more men’s clothing. Larger selection on that and men’s shoes.

Designer items for a fraction of the designer price, what more can you ask for? This is one of those places you have to visit often to find a gem in the rough. I saw a pair of Vince Camuto heels for $ 50, what a steal! I saw them for sale at the outlet for $ 60 or $ 70. Too bad they were half a size too small. But you can find a variety of things here from jackets, to designer jeans, to under garments, to shoes and even pots and pans.
Most things are discounted at a pretty good price, some things you can find for cheaper at ross. But definitely one of my favorite places to come to look at shoes as it is much neater and less chaotic than ross.

Cheesy crap, screaming children, blaring music. It was so depressing.

I bought a fabulous Michael Kors bag there for half its original price. So i was very happy!!!
Didn’t like anything else, but the bag was definitely worth the visit.

I love this store! Compared to the zoo atmosphere at the Ross and Marshalls on Market Street, this place is great. It’s usually very well organized. Plenty of parking. Never a long wait to check out. Great home section with lots of lamps and furniture.
The store is also dog friendly. Josie just walks right in on her leash. Several employees stopped by to say hello to her.

My first time in TJ Maxx, and what a pleasant surprise. Unlike walking into a Ross or Marshall’s (neither of which I have seen the inside of in many, many years) TJ is clean, organized, and actually has good stuff. Here’s what $ 123 bucks got me:
1. 2 great blouses
2. A pair of leggings
3. A pair of the cutest sandals ever
4. A dress that SO came in perfect handy on that 90 degree day
5. 1 9-​inch Teflon saucepan, with a cool orange bottom
6. 1 12-​inch Teflon saucepan, with a cool yellow bottom
7. A garlic and sea salt shaker (even though I found it totally strange that, all of sudden after you finish looking through the linens, there’s this crazy food aisle. But, you can’t go wrong with spices, right?)
8. A pillar candle
9. A comfortable fitting room experience
10. A pleasant checkout woman.
I will return for more!
