Credit due. Big sign over the register says«no credit». Figured it must mean no credit cards taken. This is in fact not true. Apparently a pay as you go business. Wise move. Short on cash good to know credit cards were OK for my $ 6 turkey sandwich on wheat. Lots of sliced deli meat, veggies and mustard. No fancy ingredients just a solid sandwich. Availability of food isn’t the only thing to be aware of. Area is a little dodgy, best to keep an eye on your food and belongings. Was happy to settle the bill before departing, and just as happy to give three stars for an A-OK lunch.

Sadly it is best to avoid this market as it is in an extremely dangerous area. I was the victim of an attempted mugging while I was inside the store ! it is just unsafe to be in here !!

I needed a Diet Coke. Found Diet Coke. Success! Impulse. Impulse. Contemplating. Contemplating. I was standing by the register waiting to be rung up and then I saw a «deli’s» aisle and saw fried chicken and all these wonderful fried goodies. corn dogs, French fries, shish-kabobs(pork/chicken), and a sandwich menu and what did I do? I ordered 1 stick of the kabobs. The guy asked if I wanted it heat up and I said, «Please» and it was plopped into the microwave for what seemed to be forever but it was actually not that hot. Maybe it’s an old microwave, ha. The customer service is decent– can’t ask for much for a corner store. I forgot how much I paid for the skewers, I think it was $ 2. The chicken was a little dry but the marinade wasn’t bad at all. Good to try at least once.
