Lee and her coworkers are really nice. However, Lee is extremely rough on her clients. I usually go in for a french pedicure but she made me bleed a couple of times. I usually tip her well, but I think my tips were wasted. :/ The last time I went to her was for a full set acrylic french tips. She left a ton of acrylic still on my cuticle, not planning on going back. Lee has also moved her business to Daly City.

BEWARE! My first impression of the place was that it was grungy. Everything looked cracked, stained, and old, and the«salon» massage chair foot baths were yellow tinged. However, I braved on due to the enthusiastic recommendation I had gotten for this place(and also because of the $ 20 mani/pedi price) and opted for a non-massage(i.e. normal) chair. It took an hour and a half even though there was only myself and one other person in the shop. Unfortunately, Lee cut so deep into the side of my big toenail that it was all I could do to keep from screaming and running out of the shop. A day later it still hurts. Yes, my hands and feet look nice, but I prefer to not be in pain and risk infection after a pedicure.

I love this place. I used to go to Nails by Lisa across the street because it was super cheap, but the wait there is always long and I wouldn’t exactly call it clean. I decided to check out Time for Nails, whose name fits the place appropriately, because I didn’t want to wait half an hour to get my nails done at Nails by Lisa. The people inside Time for Nails are very nice and actually make conversation. What I like the most about them is that they care. I went to a very expensive place near my house the week before and I got a regular pedicure despite a callous i developed by wearing heels too much. At Time for Nails, the lady actually cared enough to remove it. As for environment, the place is very clean and rarely busy because everyone is crowding around Lisa’s. I was even hesitant to share this nail salon on the internet because I’m selfish when it comes to getting my own personal time for nails!
