Very convenient place to live for working downtown! You get a lot of bang for your buck and very reasonable for being in the heart of downtown SF

I have lived here for close to two months. It’s very quiet and clean.
I have used the lounges on the rooftop and first floor numerous times.

I have a friend that lives in the building that referred me to check it out. I came to The Wilson after looking at the reviews online with somewhat high expectations, and I have to admit they were exceeded. I never usually rant about a business unless I’ve had an incredible experience! The manager Tyler is so informative, professional l, and represented the property very well. You can tell the building had a great community environment as Tyler greeted each resident by name that we saw while on my tour.
The amenity spaces like the oversized gym and rooftop (amazing views by the way) are incredible for such a small building with affordable rent. I’m not moving until later in 2016, but I will absolutely be coming back and moving here.

I was looking for a short term apartment in San Francisco for a work project for 3 months. Although The Wilson doesn’t do short term leases, the manager Tyler was the most helpful associate I’ve ever dealt with. He was able to tour the building on the weekend with me, even though he was off the clock! His customer service and professionalism made the luxury building so much more desirable. If you’re looking for a new home in San Francisco, The Wilson is the best place to go! I would recommend this community to all of my family and friends.

My daughter and I are fortunate enough to live in the Wilson Building. It’s modern look and style create a wonderful environment to live in. It’s secured doors and attentive security allow us to feel very safe and comfortable in the entire building and my 12 year old daughter can safely walk around and enjoy the lovely amenities such as the gym, the link lounge and the overall favorite… the roof top deck with BBQ, fireplace, and plenty of comfortable spaces to sit, relax and enjoy all that downtown has to offer with living in and around skyscrapers and other buildings.
We have lived here for one year and I hope to stay many, many more!

I love living at the Wilson. The location is absolutely perfect! By far the absolute best building to live in, downtown.

I have been a resident of the Wilson since it opened in the summer of 2014. The apartments are of a modern industrial/​loft style with high-​end finishes such as stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and chrome-​plated faucets. I looked at apartment options in multiple properties in the same downtown/​SOMA area, and the Wilson, while certainly not a bargain, offered the best quality living at a comparable price to other competitors in the area.
The property is well-​maintained and cared for. The hallways and common areas are kept very clean, and there is someone at the front desk to receive packages or deliveries Monday through Saturday. The workout facility in the basement is not large, but it has basic free weights, a cable machine, some cardio machines, and a yoga/​stretching room. The rooftop deck offers a nice view on multiple sides.
The management team is friendly and responsive. They have answered every question and addressed every concern with a smile and a solution.
The Wilson is very convenient to not only downtown work, shopping, and eating locations. It is also half a block from Powell Station and the many MUNI and BART lines that run through it. Also, in a neighborhood that feels a bit rough during the late night or early morning hours, the Wilson still feels very safe, secured by badge access and on-​site guard rotations.
If you are looking for luxury living, you would do well to consider the Wilson as an option.

Great location. Friendly, professional staff (and nice neighbours!). I was a short term renter with a roommate who is still living there.
Basemen gym could use some barbells, but that would seriously be a case of an apartment gym going above and beyond. Overall, no complaints.

Combining modern sophistication with early 20^th century design, The Wilson located in San Francisco’s mid-​market is a refreshing departure from a lot of the new construction seen around town. Stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher, in-​unit laundry, chic wood flooring, and modern finishes make these apartments both luxurious and utilitarian. The Wilson also features a roof deck with panoramic views of the city, an outdoor Viking kitchen for grilling and entertaining, a fitness center, and a professional and efficient staff. Tyler, the building manager is as kind as he is professional and efficient. Step into The Wilson, an oasis in an otherwise chaotic city.

The Wilson is a great place to live! There are beautiful views of downtown San Francisco, fantastic amenities and it’s really close to anything you would ever need. Great restaurants, coffee, shopping, and public transportation are within walking distance. The management team and security are always around and really friendly. I always feel safe and if I have a question there is someone close by to help out. The roof is a really nice place to entertain, cook, chat with neighbors or enjoy the sunset after a long day of work. They did a great job of keeping the original architectural details, while incorporating modern features that keep the building quiet and enjoyable.

Great location! Super close to many cafes, business district, shopping stores and public transport. The Wilson re estd in 2014 with a combination of old bricks that certainly create sort of old-​modern architechture in the building. Its a pet friendly community, satisfying facilities and undeniably safe environment too!

The Wilson Building stands proudly on Market St for 110 years! Survived the earthquake in 1906, now the building is under massive construction to become a home of its future residents.
I had the chance to check this place out while under construction and it offers very promising features, commodities and most of all, homes full of history.
Even after your visit you decide for any reason that this place is not going to be your future home, the hard hat tour would still totally be worthwhile. Just knowing this historic building and the very friendly, nice and organized management behind it, is an experience itself.
I do have to commend the property’s assistant manager, Jessica Wigle. Very professional and friendly, extremely helpful and informative and has a good sense of humor. Sadly, not all other property/​apartment managements that I’ve been to have this quality or type of management. It does affect decision-​making of prospective residents; ultimately, you’ll have to deal with management for a lot of things.
If you are looking for a new extraordinary home (history, landmark, exposed brick wall, new appliances, gas (not electric range!), pet friendly, nice hardwood floors, wide windows, high ceilings), this property is something you definitely should check out.
