The Tempositions Group of Companies

I’ve had an excellent experience with Tempositions and in in particular with JC Dala, aka assignment matchmaker! She placed me with a wonderful non profit agency in March and I was hire perm in August, talk about a perfect match! I have referred a few friends here and two of them were placed on assignments. Definitely work checking out.

As a client they found me a server and bar personnel — just. However, they seem to suffer from quite a few glitches in their systems. Unlikely to use them again.

I have used this group on four separate occasions and they have always sent great people. Professional, courteous, and fun personalities for our company events. Even on short notice, they have always pulled through. Thank you Liz and Allyson!

After the interview, I’ve had very little contact with them. Amy always emails be back to show that she’s received my availability update and they finally found an assignment for me.
But she needs to go to email etiquette school. Seriously, it’s not ok to scold your employees if their schedule doesn’t allow them do an assignment! I’ve gotten an «I already told you that and if you would’ve listened to me…» email from her after not being able to do an assignment! My favorite was a phone call from a recruiter saying «you wouldn’t have gotten lost if you had done a little research before you left the house!». I did look up the address as soon as I got the assignment– the company had moved to a different floor and didn’t update their website or their temp agency. Boo to both of you.
There are plenty of temp companies with much nicer recruiters out there.

I agree with Jade I that this is a good temp agency (specifically for food servers/​bartenders/​chefs) when in need of extra cash, but they don’t have that much work. Starting pay is 50% more than the minimum wage of Party Staff. I’ve worked several events with TemPositions since joining in February, and so far other service staff has been cool. Their office staff is wonderful, too. You get a bonus if you refer a friend and they work a certain number of hours, which is a nice perk. One more star if they can give me and those I’ve referred more hours!

Allright all you wanna-​be worker bees out there… LISTEN UP! I am one of those and right now working my ASS off at finding a decent job.
I am new to the corporate work force and really have my eyes set on an office gig. I have applied to 4 temp agencies and this one thus far has given me good results. No I haven’t gotten a job yet but I have received 3 offers thus far. The current one I may get! If I do get it and it is good then maybe their stars will bounce up to 5.
I suggest going here. They care about you and also understand your position in the work life.
