New owner, new pizzas… Prices are reasonable and pizza is awesome, handmade crust and fresh ingredients. The owner is going to be adding an Asian twist and possibly an Asian side menu. So if you are a resident or passing through don’t miss this gem in the rough!!! Look out for the new menu in a week or so! Will def be back when I’m in the outer mission

Came here to order a few nights ago and the pizza wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst the saving grace was the cashier who was friendly and had great service, but what pissed me off is that I tried to go again today and even though it’s stated on Unilocal that it’s open from 11am till midnight I drive over here and it’s closed and when I try to call I get a hotline which tries to make me do a survey. I already wasted my time driving here do they think I want to give this survey any info so since today pissed me off and last time was alright I’ll give it a 3 instead of a 1 but seriously this is unprofessional and they obviously don’t care much about clientele

I walk by this place all the time on my way to my boyfriend’s house and I heard a few people mention how good it was so I thought I’d stop by one day when I was craving some pizza. I got two slices of pepperoni. They make it right in front of you so you have to wait a little while, around 10 minutes, but it’s sooo fresh! I came back a couple more times and it was just as good. The crust is delicious. I’m actually probably going to come back again tonight. They’re open til 3AM which is also reeeally convenient, and they deliver :)

The pizza here is nasty. Too much cheese on the pizza and the pizza does not taste right. I will never come here again. I mean never. This pizza place should be a Domino’s Pizza. I would come than.

Today, 12÷14÷13, I tried to order pizza from this place. They open at 11am. Called at 11:30am — no answer. Stopped by around 11:50am — nobody was there. No note on the door. No message on the answering machine.

COMMITTEDCUSTOMERSPURNEDFORLASTTIME. I’ve been a committed Pizza House(SF) customer since the day they opened. When the original manager, Ven and her boyfriend, Scott?, used to co-manage the SF location this place was stellar. Clean, prompt, courteous, and the pair were masters of customer incident management. However, without effective management since last summer this place has gone downhill. My usual order is 1 specialty pizza per week. In 2.5 years, I’ve probably received 6 incorrect orders, 3 of which were in the last month. Each time, management didn’t apologize for their error, and were rude when I mentioned that my last 3 orders had errors and inquired about a possible free can of soda(s). I called again later to report my experience with upper management, and have gotten no response from either location. There are 3 other pizza locations along Ocean Avenue, too bad this place forgot who it was and how precious their location is in the Sunnyside neighborhood. We miss you, Ven!!!

Best garlic cheese bread I’ve ever had… period! Pizza was very good, service was friendly, and an overall great experience. Only negatives were that the pizza was very pricey, the burger was average, and do NOT get the Caesar Salad.

I order from this place fairly frequently. It’s usually soggy and mediocre, but, hey — It’ll make a turd. It’s cheap, but you get what you pay for.

This is a great neighborhood pizza spot. Whenever my roommates & I have a craving for pizza, we order from The Pizza House and whatever we want is ready in 15 – 20 minutes. Their prices are pretty good, especially if you go with one of the deals/coupons on the bottom of their paper menu(note: they have these at the counter — just grab one whenever you pick up and you will always have the coupon you want!). They serve«pan» style pizza so the crust is thicker than«thin crust» pizza but it isn’t deep dish either. The crust is always crispy and delicious. They have a good selection of toppings and a few combo pizzas with pre-picked toppings. If you live in the area and are looking for a quick dinner, give The Pizza House a call!

I would give this place a 3.5 if I could, because I feel that it deserves better than just an «average». The prices are competitive, the ingredients are standard, and the speed is relatively fast. Not the best pizza I have ever had, but I’d say it gets the job done. Not a lot of seating room, only about 6 to 8 seats at a bar top counter by the windows. Definitely meant for pick up orders, but manageable if it’s only you and a friend.

PAYCASH— DONOTCHARGE!!! One thing you do not play with is peoples credit card information. Yesterday I phoned in an order for a pizza delivery and charged it. Today I phoned in and was placed on hold for over 3 minutes. So I decided to use their website to place my order, and used the pay by cash option. The delivery driver shows up at my door with the pizza and tells me to sign. I’m thinking, **how in the fuck did they know the same guy is placing an order from yesterday. There truly has got to be some sort of mistake. There are 2 other people living here and there’s another apartment downstairs.** It would have made all the sense in the world if I used my personal information on that seriously lame ass website, but I did not. No banking information, No credit card info, NOTHING. Not even the first and last name which was given on the website matched the credit card used previously. No to hell with it making any sense… They make arbitrary choices as to who to charge. It’s called stealing. example: – Sally is ordering a pizza, but lets charge it to Johnny. They live close by, we’ll let them figure it out once the delivery guy get there with the pizza. Never again. NOTE: If you order anything from there pay Cash, or be prepared to find unwanted charges on your account!!! I’ve reported that card used with them LOST. those fucking pricks, thanks for nothing.

Good burgers and very generous on the fries at a good price. It puts Joe’s Broiler(2 blocks away) to shame.

May you burn in Hell, Monterey Pizza. Helloooooo, Pizza House! Night and day!!! Completely a 180 turn from the old place to this new establishment. The pizzas here are tasty and crispy and awesomely good! True, there are times when the pizzas lag a little but that is expected when they are swamped with a bunch of orders. Just think of it like a plate spinning routine. 5 plates on 5 sticks spinning and spinning and you are trying to keep them from falling off the sticks and keep them spinning. Not that easy. I think they should over estimate their times so they can make and deliver on time. Usually when I order ahead I give them at least half an hour so I don’t have to stand outside in the cold wind and fog. So if you want pizza, this is your best local option. And local is always better because less travel time to your house and more eating time for your tummy. Enjoy!!!

I stopped in for a slice this afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised. I live just up the street and had been anxiously waiting for them to finish remodeling. It looks so much better than it used to now. I got mushroom-black olive. The crust had the perfect crisp. I only wish it was a thinner crust(something to remember for next time).

A little sweet new pizza place opened up in my neighborhood with delivery also! You can go into the restaurant and grab a menu, they have some coupons at the bottom! The people who work here are super sweet. This place is also pretty close to City College so students can come grab some pizza on their lunch break. There’s also a bus stop right outside so hungry people waiting for the bus can come and grab something quickly. I have tried the pizza house special slice and their slices are HUGE! The Veggie Deluxe special sounds amazing also, artichoke on pizza is delicious! Their buffalo wings are also good, although, not that special. I think i just like the way that they fry it. They’re open until 12AM, which is also good for my late night cravings! They also have another location in Hayward.
