I can’t say enough great things about this group of ladies. I reached out to them via email when trying to plan my surprise engagement proposal to my girlfriend of 10 years(better late than never, right). I wanted to do a little something extra when proposing during our recent trip to San Francisco. Lisa was my point of contact in the group and she helped me with a few ideas. We decided The Palace of Fine arts would be a great spot. She assembled 7 of the ‘Loosies’ to be at the location at a certain time and then break into our song after I proposed. They performed a wonderful rendition of Peter Gabriel’s «In Your Eyes». It was fantastic and completely took my girlfriend, now fiancé, by surprise. They even went the extra step by accommodating me and picking up a beautiful bouquet of flowers to give to her while singing our song. They were very professional, sweet and talented. They were also very reasonably priced. Thank you again ladies for making our engagement extra special. We will both always remember the occasion. Much love from TN! J-n-S

The Loose Interpretations are a great, all-female a cappella group. There are about a dozen women in the group and a large age range of females. I attended the A Capella Three-Way(three a cappella groups performed) show on Friday night since a close friend of mine is in the amazing Clef Divers( ). I loved the full variety of Loose Interpretations’ songs — everything from country(9 to 5), rock, and even their own funny Adverb Song. I hope they team up again with the Clef Divers for more incredible a cappella nights! :)

The Loose Interpretations(aka The Loosies) are awesome. I emailed a bunch of random a cappella groups to get a feel for the various groups, fees, etc. and Kristy(my main contact from the Loosies) was a consummate professional from the get go. While many of the groups were concerned with money and charging a per song fee first and foremost, Kristy was pumped to be part of our special day primarily. Of course she had to charge a price but it was completely reasonable — especially compared to other groups. My plan was to surprise my wife with an acappella rendition of «All You Need is Love» has she walked down the aisle, a la Love Actually. Kristy was more than accommodating in making this happen and The Loosies were able to learn this new song less than six weeks before the wedding. She led all communications between our wedding coordinator and guitarist so that I didn’t have to worry about the minor details. Kristy and nine of her colleagues came to the wedding and rocked it, thus winning me eternal points and a few«get of the doghouse cards» to carry me over for a while. Their dedication to making this happen and keeping things fun but special was incredible. One of my buddies tried to introduce himself to one of The Loosies before the ceremony and asked how he knew my wife. She remained cool and in character and blatantly lied that she and my wife grew up together and used to attend summer camps together back East. Well done Loosies, well done indeed. I would highly recommend hiring The Loosies for a wedding, birthday, anniversary, etc. Just make sure your significant other doesn’t see this posting so you can take full credit for the idea!

What a crowd pleaser! I can’t say enough about this talented A Capella group. They’re funny, engaging and boy can they sing! Think songs like Tainted Love and 9 to 5… and groups like The Cure and Bön Jovi. Very entertaining!
