The Commissary specializes in Spanish-influenced California cuisine, driven by sustainable, locally-sourced ingredients. It also features a mercantile with artisan goods, from batch jams to local cheeses, as well as bottles of wine.
Most seating at The Commissary is communal. The restaurant offers limited traditional and bar seating and «front row» seating surrounding an open kitchen where guests can watch the chefs in action.
