Specialties
From weddings to babies to boudoir.
Located in San Francisco, I have captured weddings all over the Bay Area and have traveled as far as New York to do so. In addition, for those bride’s to be (or even the super nice wife already:-), I shoot tasteful artistic boudoir. Beautiful, classic, these images are something a spouse is sure to love. My packages offer a second shooter, wedding albums, digital negatives, photobooth for capturing your guests in fun creative images, engagement sessions, and canvas prints.
San Francisco City Hall is around the corner from me, and quite frankly one of my favorite places to work. Please give me a call for special weekday package rates.
History
Established in 2006.
Just in case you’re wondering, who is Terra? What makes her tick? When she photographs our wedding, what does she bring to the plate?
Okay, you’re probably not wondering all that, but still I’d like to let you know that for me photography has led me to the best career ever. I feel so blessed to have been let into such intimate moments of peoples lives, to have the power to cause them to shed tears of joy, to have been hugged by so very many of them, it’s beyond words. What really drives me are the moments the camera records, and the drive to catch more than an image, but the texture of your skin, the way even the air felt that day. I hope, in the end, my images live up the reality.
I have been photographing weddings since 2006, please visit my site to view more of my work.
Meet the Business Owner
Terra T.
Business Owner
When I came across my mother’s camera as a child and snuck off to the store to purchase film I had it in my head that I could photograph people exhaling if I stood still long enough. This, I think, is what makes me a good photographer. Standing with my back to a wall I survey the crowd, study them, stand close by and pretend I’m not listening so that I can over hear things I wouldn’t normally. Changing my lens, seemingly wrapped up in another moment, I’m listening to the couple 10 feet away. He’s hugging her, she’s laughing, and when they kiss, I’m waiting with my camera already focused to capture the moment. Sometimes the click of my shutter catches their attention. Maybe they blush or freeze up. That’s not important though, what’s important is that when they see that moment they remember the day. Where they were, how they felt.
Photographs are more than random images, stiff poses captured on glossy pages, they are (as my grandmother always feared) a little bit of your soul.
