History

Established in 2009.

Tender Rose Home Care was started by Jim Kimzey to fill the need he discovered when evaluating home care options for his own mother who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease. The type of care he was looking for –highly trained caregivers providing the person-​centered, activity-​based care recommended by the Alzheimer’s Association – only existed in a few high-​end assisted living facilities. He started Tender Rose to provide the highest quality Alzheimer’s care in the San Francisco Bay Area in the patient’s home instead of a nursing home.
