Tea & Juice Cafe

Another great stand at the International Food Court. This is in the corner stall between the Filipino and Japanese places. I had the ‘Fish Chowder Rice Noodle Soup’, which was excellent, although not chowder in the New England-​sense (‘chowdah’.) It was clear and slightly thick, like the viscosity of a good hot-​and-​sour soup, and a little curry-​ish. It had fish balls, parsley, peanuts, half of a hard-​boiled egg, and chili peppers. I really liked the way the rice noodles thickened the soup even more and soaked up the flavors of the soup.
And yes, free milk tea! (that’s quite strong — I’m not sure I’ll be sleeping at all tonight.)
I didn’t try it, but the tea leaf salad looked pretty good, too.
I’m not sure why it’s called the ‘Tea & Juice Café’, but that’s what it says on the menu I got. So there.
