My law partner and I run a boutique litigation firm focused on representing landlords and other property owners. In the first few months in business, we experienced rapid growth, and we knew we had to hire an administrative assistant/​paralegal immediately.

As a small business owner, finding and retaining a fantastic staff is definitely one of the biggest challenges. Managing your expenses is up there too. So, its difficult to decide to spend money on things «you can do yourself.»
But can you do it yourself?
I wrestled with the decision to use Talent Maven because of the expense. As soon as I took the plunge though, it became clear it was the right decision! From the start they «got me». I have been in service industry for 18years and know that real costumer service comes in when something’s go wrong and how You respond is truly shows what kind of business it is. In this case it sure did show that this company is a Average and before going with them I would highly recommend researching other companies with more experience. We had big hopes with this project and as hard as it was to allocate 3000 $ we did it. For small business that is still growing it is still quite large amount.
Beside the fact that initial meeting happened with the the owner, all of the project was handled by someone else and clearly there was real bad miscommunication and it went not the right direction. So lots of time and money was wasted. On top of it
Mistakes with scheduling appointments for interviews for employee prospects, that caused wrong first impression about the candidates.
Two meetings that were set up with founder /​owner never happened and was brought to our attention last minute by one of the Talent maven employee instead .
This company had no prior experience with working with beauty Industry but instead of recommending someone that would be more familiar with our industry they still gave us hope and assured that results will be good .
Very young company with inconsistent results, poor communication skills.
Now trying to reach the owner on the phone is practically impossible.
We are still glad we had this experience!
