Description

Specialties

Our tea service specialty is GREAT scones and affordable tea service. Our other specialty is that we are the ONLY equestrian store in San Francisco.

History

Established in 1980.

Our family started the business in the fall of 1980 at our first location on the corner of O’farrell and Divisidero in San Francisco. We moved in to our current locale at 27th and California in the fall of 1995. In the 30 years we have served the city tea, scones and equestrian equipment, it has been our passion to do so with a gracious pressence and principles set in «good and kind service to the customer».

Our Family is made up of myself (Philip Meakin), my father (Hugh Meakin), my mother (Melba Meakin), my sister (Sarah Meakin) and lastly our recent addition, my dear wife (Sharon Meakin).

Business Owner

Born in San Francisco.

Have been riding horses all my life. i.e. — liesure, jumping and polo.

Having an english father, tea was never in short supply!

Serving others is the highest form of good principles and makes one fond of their customer and a friend indeed.
