Delicious, and really fresh. Taco Tuesday taco plate is good but I would go for the specialty tacos as well. The carnitas was delicious, chicken in mole was a bit too sweet for me.

One word: margaritas. Get a pitcher. Definitely get the chicken mole taco, beef short rib and guacamole. COD was not as good as the others. Make sure to make a reservation. The yellow salsa is spicyyyy!

Gotta say right off the Marina Girl salad just makes this place. Food is good, quality ingredients, the drinks are delicious and pleasing. In fact, if you’re jonesing for Tacolicious so badly, you might skip this location and go to get your short rib tacos at the Ferry Building were the attitude and usually the crowd is much better. But you’re going here for the atmosphere and the salad! Because really, S.F. has better and cheaper taco places. But this one is good for the Marina.

Not impressed with the price for the value. Tacos were actually creative and good, but coming out to almost $ 20 is not my idea of a lunch value. If money isn’t a worry, get your taco on here, but for the rest of us, there is far better deals.

I was out and about on a city tour with a few friends from out of town, and really enjoyed the late afternoon lunch here! We were a group of 4 and ordered 10 tacos with the following variations– the traditional carnitas, braised chicken, summer squash, pacific cod and braised beef short rib. More than enough food for everyone and it was affordable! The braised chicken is a must try and the summer squash taco is good enough for vegetarians. And yes, the amazing chips and salsa –flavorful indeed! Not really the best margaritas in town but you can definitely enjoy some beers on tap here(Modelo and Dos Equis especially). We got lucky and found a parking spot just a block away from the restaurant but it’s obviously better to use public transport in SF.

I called and ordered. I spoke to an agent named Kathleen. I was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes after my call and a guy with a laptop(marina tacolicious) asked my name to check on my order then disappeared for 25 minutes(this is now 45 minuets after my call) when he came back he said he couldn’t find my order. When I explained that had I ordered when I walked in, it would have been ready by then he said(this is exact quote) «there is a solution to that. That’s the door» and when I complained he said«you can leave or I can call the police». I will never step in that dump again and I will share this story with every single person I know. This is just plain stupid.

Working in the Marina can be brutal some days especially on your lunch hour but luckily I made a friend in the cute host here named Theresia who got me served quickly and as well as hooked on these savory delicious chicken mole tacos! I’m not a big fan of onions although the lemon cured ones here at T-lish have turned me into a fan.

Ok tacos and ok drinks. The wait can get pretty horrendous here(especially after 5pm). Inside is a bit small so good luck trying to find a seat at the bar. Nothing special. most likely won’t be coming here anymore.

Overly rated taco place. I am expecting that it would wow me as it was highly recommended and by judging the line to get into. Coming from east coast, I am expecting good Mexican food scene in SF but I was disappointed with this place. They had good corn tortillas, but the flavor of the fillings did not meet the mark. The double tortillas made the flavor even bland.

Just got to San Fran… We decided to go in because of the crowd waiting… Must be good right? It wasn’t good at all… It was amazing! The best«street» type tacos we have ever had. I had the chorizo and potato taco. It was full of flavor. I also tried the Pasion cocktail… It was spicy and fruity. Delicious! Mark and JP took extra good care of us this evening, checking on us often, made suggestions and were super nice. Will def come back again.

Came here during my visit in SF. Ordered the beer chicken taco and mole chicken taco. Not a fan of the mole chicken at all but definitely recommend the beer chicken taco. Got a 6 $ house margarita which was very weak but what do you expect for 6 $. Other than that the food was great. The service was also great. Very great staff. Clean place. And the chips and salsa were amazing. Just add some lime to the chips to add some flavor and you’re set. changed my review to 5 stars because I came here AGAIN before my trip ended and the food was consistent and the tacos were amazing again. The Choco taco is 8 $ which is a little expensive but the best Choco taco I’ve ever ate.

This is definitely not your regular little dark taco place. The joint is trendy, pumping and has a full bar. We were lucky we came early(5 pm for dinner on a Saturday night!) and got a table! Server was friendly and helpful, and our tacos were gourmet. The best deal is to get 10 tacos for $ 39; the ingredients are fancy and flavorful. I also really like the rice milk drink that they creatively spiked with rum for me. Love the guacamole as well. Will come back for more.

My first meal in San Francisco when I moved here was at the Tacolicious food stand outside the Ferry Building. Many memories were brought back as I sat with my friend in the brick and mortar restaurant. We ordered four tacos for $ 17.95 and shared. The taco of the week(al pastor) was my favorite. We also got the carnitas, short rib, and cod. Out of those three, the short rib was probably my favorite. These perfectly paired with a beer… and I should really have gotten one of those delicious(Tacolicious) cocktails that the bartenders were making. Not in the mood, though. We finished our meal off with churros that came with chocolate dipping sauce. Yum. Service was fast and friendly. I’m surprised there was no wait on a Thursday night. I’m sure it gets busy during happy hour, though.

Meh, I forgot why I haven’t been here in years. Seriously $ 10.50 for a bad Margarita? Mamacitas is likes 100 times better. It does have a cool bar an scene and the food is decent. But let’s be real, the food is not why we are there… There are so many great places in SF, I am not sure this makes the cut.

–10000 stars if I could. MOSTHORRIBLEATTITUDEEVER. Food is good. Butternut squash taco is a must get. But I can’t believe how manager responded us after he switched channels on TV. Everybody was watching football. He switched it to World Series. We looked around and saw/made sure nobody is watching baseball. Asked him nicely if we could switch back to football(packers vs broncos) great game. He literally said: what. Are you watching my customers now instead of watching tv? Very rude. We had such a pleasant evening and lovely meal UNTILTHISBS. Such a shame. Food is great here and through out the meal we kept talking about coming back and trying different things on the menu next time. But with this HORRENDOUS attitude. We felt very violated and would never wanna go back again. I never wrote any bad reviews/think badly of a restaurant because of the service. This is the FIRST time. ever. in my life. He was VERY rude. We all felt belittled, and that’s not how you treat your customers.

The food is DELICIOUS. Let me get to the positive first then the negative. We had the guacamole. It was great but nothing special. We ordered 10 tacos and they were amazing. My order of choice: 1. Canitas 2. Hanger Steak 3. Cod 4. Chicken Now to the SUPER negative. The wait was super long and the hostess was not even nice about it. She acted like she was a super model and said«i have no idea» and rolled her eyes while I asked approximately how long the wait was. Waiter service was non-existent. We can barely locate the waiter even this place is the size of a studio apt. He forgot the salad we ordered and we didn’t even bother to remind him because we don’t see him after the tacos came until he rushed us out by bringing the check. The place is super crowded and noisy. And they have ONE bathroom. So there a long wait to use the bathroom too. Even the tacos was really good, I don’t think I will come back again. I am sure I can find another great tacos place in SF.

Fell in love with this place on a Tuesday night! — Food: I loooove the free chips & salsa. That’s a huge plus for me(like why do some places make you pay extra for chips… I don’t get it). I also had their tacos(pork and chicken) which were both very good, if a bit dry. — Prices: a tiny bit overpriced if you ask me. Everything inside the tacos is good don’t give me wrong, BUT they could easily be more generous and throw a bit of guac and/or cheese on there. — Atmosphere: vibrant and ideal for a night out with your friends. I will definitely be back!

Really like T-Lishhhh, as my friends and I call it! Come here all the time, along with their other locations. Yes it is a little pricey but the food is great quality(or so it tastes as it is). Fun to come with about 4 people so that you can get a big plate of different flavored tacos, along with a veggie side, Guac and/or queso! They also have a fun birthday surprise — a shot of tequila with a candle on the side, very fun for those that eat too many tacos to make room for dessert! Service is spotty and a long wait pretty much ALWAYS. Also, please bring the Brussel Spouts back!

If you’re going to complain abt how pricey it is, jst expect it! It’s the Marina & a more Americanized gourmet kind of Mexican place, not your authentic Mission joint. *phew* rant done! Anyway, I’ve always heard so much hype abt this place, so the bf & I decided to try it out on a Sunday afternoon w/no wait fortunately. The complimentary chips & salsa were very good & addicting! The chips were thick&crunchy, and the salsa had a nice kick to it. Starters: Albondigas en Chipotle(pork&beef meatballs, roasted tomato chipotle sauce, cotija cheese) — delicious & flavorful. I would cut the meatballs in half&soak the half in the tomato chipotle sauce, which added that nice extra flavor. Main: 4 tacos(bf had the nopales&oaxaca cheese & pacific cod/I had the guajillo braised beef short rib & pacific cod) — the beautiful presentation&smell of the food looked promising, but sadly, it did not live up to its expectation. Both tacos tasted bland. The beef short rib was soaked in the guajillo chili sauce, yet there wasn’t any flavor. I had to douse it in the green salsa jst to get some flavor. For the pacific cod, it was fried really well&tasted fresh, yet again, it lacked flavor to which I had to douse it in the green salsa again. Also, the tortilla was overpowering the cod that I had to take off one layer. Overall, tacos were pretty disappointing. For the price, you would expect to be amazed by the food/flavor/taste such as Nopalito, but unfortunately, it did not. The place isn’t bad, but I wouldn’t really come back here again. Cool place & ambiance though!

Awesome spot. The wait staff really set this location above the others. They are really friendly, helpful, patient, and always check up on you. This is not the case at some other locations. Some of my go-tos are: 10-taco plate — DONOT order just one taco. Who the hell eats just one taco? it may seem like a lot at first, but lets be honest. If you are with a group, you will finish them. Be sure to get the chicken mole, braised short rib, and the beer and shot chicken, but really they are all pretty good. There are a lot of contenders for good tacos in SF, but none of them have those sauces. Pitcher of Sangria — I’m not even a wine person and I ge it almost every time. Chips and guac are also on fleek. The guac is made fresh. There is usually a line for this place and space is kind of tight. Sit outside if you’re there early. Otherwise it gets kinda of cold. I’ve sat at the counter a couple of times as well and that was pretty fun. aaaaaaand now I want tacos.
