T Gallery Event Space

Three of us joined forces to rent this lovely bright space for a Pop Up just before Christmas 2014. The owner, Vince, was most helpful — answering email questions promptly, meeting with us beforehand, sending pix and parking suggestions for our own email blasts, helping move tables and put up a banner, and turning on music on the day, and even sending out his own email blast to his clients (some of whom did actually stop by).
He and his wife, Rachel, live close by and so were able to appear almost immediately when we had a couple of questions on the day. For part of our event, Vince was working at his desk behind a screen, so discreetly that we forgot he was there. But it was also reassuring to know that we could easily ask him anything should we wish.
The space is clean, bright with lovely light, and on a good corner position and filled with as much quality Asian art (pictures, tables) as you want. We used some of Vince’s tables for our wares, being careful to not place any metal objects on the glass, as requested, nor to drag the tables across the lovely hardwood floor.
There’s a large, attractively decorated and spotlessly clean restroom downstairs — easily large enough for two friends to change in at a time. There’s also a small kitchen area downstairs for light food/​drinks prep, although we did not use this ourselves.
This is not a super-​high foot-​traffic area, like the Mission or downtown. But it depends on what you hope to achieve. Our businesses — French lingerie, French skincare and a new clothing line are more personal, tell-​the-​story ventures that would not lend themselves to super-​high throughput in any case. We distributed cards to the neighborhood and sent out our own messages beforehand, and had reasonable traffic, especially in the afternoon.
We felt the high quality of the surroundings at Table Asia was commensurate with the quality of our products, and that the venue was an excellent match. And Vince’s help made the whole thing plain sailing.

This is a GREAT venue! Beautiful, stylish, and a really great vibe. Vince is awesome and really easy to work with, and we’ll be renting here again and again. Thanks so much Table Asia! We heart you!

I had noticed this beautiful venue many times before I actually had the need for an intimate event space and when I booked it I could not have been happier with the entire experience.
Beautiful natural light, elegant, no need to bring anything additional to enhance the setting: it is all there with the wood, glass, screens, artwork. Excellent stereo, cute bathroom and modest-​use kitchen space are available. Lovely neighborhood without any heavy urban feel.
I mostly dealt with Vince, but his wife and fellow-​artist Rachel was equally nice and accommodating.
Highly recommend this unique spot.
