As an Enrolled Agent, we can also represent you, the taxpayers before the IRS in case of an audit. Our team of highly trained accounting professionals offers superior year-​round tax services and advice to individuals, LLC’s, Partnerships and other types of entities. We can also assist individuals wishing to start their own business with our Company Set-​Up Services.

History

Established in 2010.

After many years of unable to find an effective and reliable tax person, we decided to do our taxes and accounting works ourselves. Starting out with just helping friends and family with their taxes, and eventually we realized that doing taxes and accounting work are our long life dreams and callings. After 10 years working successfully in banking and mergers and acquisitions, Tim decided to leave all that behind and joined a small tax and accounting firm. At the same time, he dedicated his time and effort in studying and obtained his Enrolled Agent.

After 20 years working in several industries, from a local CPA firm to a non-​profit organization, Derrick decided to go back to school and earned his Master of Science in Taxation from Golden Gate University. He has helped several small businesses in the Bay Area run more efficiently and successfully.

Our passion for accuracy and helping people has leaded us making T&D Tax Service a reality and what it is today.

Timothy V.

Business Owner

— Timothy Vu, EA is the founding member of T&D Tax Service. He specializes in the accounting and tax needs of small to medium-​sized businesses and individuals. Timothy is an Enrolled Agent with over 15 years of experience in tax and various industries. He is well experienced in representing high profile clients for audits in front of the IRS. He also has been involved with mergers and acquisitions, banking/​finance, tax planning, domestic partners (California) and retirement planning. He has a dual degree in accounting and psychology and he also served in the Navy from 1984 – 1988.

— Derrick C. Vu is the other founding member of T&D Tax Service. He is a dedicated professional with over 25 years of experience helping business owners and their families keep more of what they make through prudent planning and compliances. He has a talent for identifying and resolving problems in the most difficult situation. Derrick earned his MS Tax from Golden Gate University
