STUDIO Gallery showcases the work of local artists, folks who live and create in the San Francisco Bay Area. We do a variety of shows throughout the year, alternating solo and two-​person shows with themed group shows. Because of our local focus, we have a great selection of cityscapes and landscapes depicting the city and the surrounding area. We aim to show excellent work in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

History

Established in 2003.

We started the gallery to showcase the work of local artists. STUDIO Gallery is a collaboration of Rab Terry and Jennifer Farris. Rab has been a working artist for decades, recently focusing on Venetian plaster paintings. We wanted to provide a venue to show his work, as well as the work of other talented local artists, including those who may defy easy categorization.

Business Owner

Rab has been a working artist for decades, and Jen managed big projects: it’s a good combination to run an art gallery. We’ve lived just a few blocks from the gallery for years, and we know the neighborhood well. We work with a big variety of local artists, from folks who’ve never shown in a gallery before to mid-​career, established artists. We love running the gallery together – seeing our customers, artists and neighbors – and we hope you’ll love it too.
