Matt has over 8 years of experience in the Self Storage business. He has been with Stop N Stor since October 2010. He has wonderful team members Yunuen, Mario, Anibal, and Chris who help him provide excellent customer service and keep the facility clean and secure. Come get to know the Stop N Stor team! I rented a parking space advertised for $ 100 a month but was charged $ 120 (seems the city managed to squeeze the extra 20 outta me by saying it was a «parking tax»). Can’t fight city hall, as the saying goes, so I rented the space. Eight months later I received notice that the rent (and city tax) will increase by 20% in one month. Upon inquiry I was informed that the rate hike was standard operating procedure by Stop N Stor Mini Storage company and that I could look forward to it every 9 months. That’s 26.667% increase yearly. Really? Christ, cost of living increases by only 2% per year.

This place is clean and convenient– all ground floor and close to parking. The staff on busy Labor Day were so cheerful and helpful. It is really to have a little help moving my stuff.
The access hours are longer than some other sites. I was surprised they were opened on Labor Day after calling other places that were closed.

i began renting from stop-​n-​stor last month and so far the experience has been great. the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the yard is very clean and well maintained. my storage unit is in really nice condition and i feel comfortable knowing that everything is well looked-​after. they even deducted most of the cost of my rental van for move-​in from my first month’s rent. definitely staying here!

We’ve used Stop n Stor to put furniture in while getting floors done and needed fast in and fast out as well as minimal storage time. Took advantage of the special rates for short term rental, cheaper than anywhere else. Mario, the manager at the Jerrolds site, is professional and a nice guy. Spaces are clean and easy to access, all on the ground floor — just drive up, drop your stuff off, and leave.

Stopped in here just to purchase a few boxes, tape & bubble wrap. Just enough to keep me busy till the weekend, when the ‘big guns’ I hired to help me pack, will be here.
The young man at Stop N Stor Mini Storage was extremely helpful with sizes and pricing. Excellent customer service.

Stop n stor is really convenient and we were able to move into our 5×5 space quickly. The units are all ground floor so there are no elevators. You can drive right up to your unit which makes loading and unloading things really easy.
On a side note, the units are made of repurposed shipping containers and are secured with an electronic alarm. Pretty sweet!

I’ve had a storage unit at stopnstor for more than two years… The staff is always very helpful, courteous and acommodating. As storage companies go (i’ve had a bit of experience in the last ten years) this facility is first rate! I highly recommend them.

I moved to San Francisco from Sacramento. My apartment complex said they had a storage unit available, but when I arrived with my Uhaul at move in… they had none!
Thanks to Stop N Stor, my move in day went from bad to good. Matt showed me a number of units until we found the right size for my things. Claudette and Luis were so friendly and helpful, especially when moving can be so stressful!
The online payment option is great, making things seamless each month!

Front desk staff person was very patient with all the paperwork and truck rental. I like the free eBay listing service for items in your storage unit… I will definitely take advantage of that. The discounted truck rental included with storage movein was a huge asset for my move!

Walked in 5min before closing (drove from Los Angeles with all of my belongings) and they provided service as if I was there at 9am. They werent in a rush and showed me exactly what I needed. Pricing is great and the location is even better. Paper work was easy and fast. I have been in and out of the unit several times and its easy to navigate the faciltyand access was smooth.

I’ve had an amazing experience with Stop N’ Stor so far. I recently moved up to San Francisco from Los Angeles and I contacted this storage facility to see if I could put a hold on a unit. Thankfully, they got back to me right away and said they could put the unit on hold until I got there. I was also able to fill out all of the paperwork before arriving so that I could just sign it and start moving in as soon as I got there.
Claudette, Matt, and Cathy were all incredibly helpful. I was also lucky enough to get the help of their hired hand (I forget his name, so sorry!) who helped me move everything in my truck into the unit. He was an absolute godsend.
And not only was the service great, but their prices are the best in town. And all of their units are drive-​up, so you don’t have to worry about lugging your stuff up multiple floors.
I’m hoping to find an apartment soon and remove my items shortly after that, but if I ever need to store something in the future, I will definitely come back to Stop N Stor.

I had a fantastic experience with Stop N Stor. To give a bit of background, it was a very stressful week trying to get out of my apartment, find a new apartment, and leave my stuff in storage in the meantime, while also starting a new job. I live in the Bernal Heights area, so I had contacted 9 different storage units. Stop N Stor was one of only three units that ever got back to me. Of the three units, Stop N Stor was in the middle in terms of cost, but it was the most conveniently located to me.
Overall though, I was happy with the cost, as I received an online promotion and my 5×8 unit ended up at $ 100 for a month after the move-​in cost, which was fairly reasonable. The unit is convenient as they allow you to drive straight in.
The biggest reason I am giving 5 stars for this storage facility though is the customer service. I worked directly with Claudette and she was stellar. I am giving her 5-​stars for her customer service alone. Claudette was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. She was very patient in helping me compare costs with various unit sizes, and seemed genuine in her desire to give me the lowest possible price. Even after I had already signed the rental agreement, she continued the stellar customer service. Luis was also excellent (he was the one who showed me the units).

Was able to move into a 5×5 space right away. really good size and price for the monthly and for the few hours notice.
The facilities are pretty clean, and with their gates and surveillance. The place is very accessible and i feel secure that there’s hours where no one can go in aka the time when shady things happen when it’s dark time.
A star knocked off for the incomplete service. The person I worked with is nice and accommodating, but because he was from another store, he didn’t point out all the things I needed to sign and because of that I had to go back in at a different time to just finish the paperwork. I guess for the future, make sure that everyone is on the same page when renting out new space to tenants, better service that way!

Free truck availabe to use «but» found out there is always a $ 15 truck rental fee & you can only use it within 20 miles before the .79 cent per mile kicks in. (not quite free)

So far so good. Good price and seems like clean units. One of the girls who works the desk seems very smart and helpful and the other one seems like she may be a little less «into the job» or does doesn’t care but she wasn’t as nice to deal with.
We hope this place stays in good shape and they don’t come up with unusal charges but seems good right now.
Free truck for move in, which was nice, easy drive-​in and drive-​out.
Wish the hours were 24⁄7 but they don’t have terrible hours and the price is right. Security seems good and the security guy I meant seems very nice.

This place was amazing when I used them in August of 2011 when I got stuck without a home for a month since there was confusion about when I could move into my new place.
They were super cheap and gave me two storage units for a total of $ 74 for two months, which basically covered insurance and truck rental since the storage unit was only $ 1/​month for the first month… and they were nice and let me use that deal even though they knew I only needed it for that one month!
The lady and the guy who both helped me out were super nice and we need more storage places like this around!

SELF STORE IS AMAZING. Seriously.
We are storage vets — plz at least check this out. Cheap, phenomenal service.
They get overshadowed by the bigger players so they really go out of their way to please (both existing and new clients). The units are great as well, and the access is very convenient.
BTW neighborhood says ‘bayview/​hunters point’, but it is really more mission/​potrero — just east of the Cesar Chavez exit off 101, next to the Lowe’s.
