History

Established in 1962.

Standard Termite Inspection and Repair was founded in 1962 by Alfred V. and Mary O’keefe Motak. In 1980, Alfred later branch out to Pest Control specializing in health care facility’s and food processing plants in commercial and residential pest control. Currently Standard specializes in Bee control, proofing and bedbugs. Jerry O’keefe Motak is a recognized noted Berkeley pest controller and second generation. termite and pest technician. Jerry is license in Branch 2 General Pest & 3 Wood Destroying Organism Operator practicing for 39 years.

He is a member/​director of PCOC, Pest Control Operators of California.

Jeremiah O’keefe Motak is the second generation owner and operator of Standard Termite and Pest Control founded in 1962 by

his parents. He is recognized as a professional expert in the structural pest control field with expert witness testimony as a practicioner of pest control. The San Francisco Chonicle granted him as a noted Berkeley Pest Controller duing the Maori Exhibit at the De Young Museam.

He is a proud member and director of Pest Control Operators Of California, San Francisco/​San Mateo district. He graduated from St Anne of the Sunset class of 1968, Saint Ignatius College Preparatory Class of 1972. City college of San Francisco, Small Business Management 1976.
