Spring Valley School-Age Children’s Center

I was in childcare from Kindergarten till now. I am in forth grade. I enjoyed the projects we do. My parents really like them. Me too. I will stay in the childcare program until I graduate from fifth grade. It is really easy to go to childcare because the childcare room is the same as my elementary school room number. I just get my homework and then sit at my desk until Ms. Teri comes in.Ms.Teri is my childcare teacher with Ms.May.

I loved this childcare program. I used to come here after school because I attended Spring Valley. This after school program is not just for kids who go to Spring Valley. Kids from other schools can come here too because I remember there were a few kids that were from different schools. I highly recommend this after school program. I feel like I learned a lot from this after school program. I learned how to work in groups and responsible. I also developed better writing and reading skills. The teachers taught us good values and gave us wise advice. We went on some field trips. We were fed pretty well too. This program runs through Winter Break, Spring Break, and Summer so it’s pretty nice. You can put your kids in trustworthy hands when you’re working. Of course, it’s also an educational and fun environment too so that’s a big plus. However, they are not open on Holidays so you will have your kids back on Holidays. I was an only child so I really enjoyed this after school program. I got to spend more time with other kids and I ended up sharing many happy memories with them. Being in this child care program just made me really happy as a kid. Before there was this child care program (I don’t think they had it until I was in first grade or something. I don’t remember .), I was a really grumpy mean kid and was always full of anger. I would definitely recommend this child care program to enrich your kid’s learning and so your kid is able to get help on his/​her homework when he/​she needs it. I remember they would designate a certain amount of time for homework. It really helped me to get some of my homework out of the way because I’m a procrastinator. Sometimes I would finish during child care and just do whatever I wanted when I got home. It’s nice because if your kid finishes their hw. when you pick him/​her up from the child care center, you can bring them to wherever you or the kid wants and spend more time with him/​her. I forgot how much it was for this program but I remember being cheap. I don’t know. All I can say is that it’s worth every penny. I pass by the school sometimes and I see the same teachers. I think most of them are still there =]. I really need to go back there sometime when I have the time.
